A mattress on a bed frame in a bedroom

Mattress Cleaning Company that cleans with steam, at your home

A mattress absorbs before it looks dirty. Sweat, natural body oils, skin cells and dust drop into the foam night after night, so the feel and the smell change before the colour does. Vacuuming does not reach that layer. Steam and wet extraction do.

  • A full team, not one person
  • Price approved before we begin
  • Steam and wet extraction, our own gear
  • Re-done in the same visit

When does a mattress actually need cleaning?

The smell is the last sign, not the first. If one of these fits, it is time.

  • Waking up stuffy or sneezing

Mattresses are where dust mites live in the greatest number, feeding on the skin cells that shed while you sleep. Whoever reacts to them wakes up congested before they connect it to the bed.

  • A sheen or darker patches where you lie

A slightly darker, shinier area over the sleeping position is body oil that has soaked into the fabric over time. It is not a shadow, and it does not brush off.

  • A smell when you strip the sheets

Pull the sheets and the cover on a warm day, and if there is a stale smell rising from the surface, the foam underneath has absorbed it. That layer is not reached by vacuuming.

  • Yellowed patches or old spills

Sweat, spilled drinks and other liquids dry into the fibres and yellow over time. The longer they sit the longer they take to treat, which is why they are worked early.

  • The surface feels rougher than it was

Fabric that used to feel smooth turns grittier under the hand as dust and residue build up on top. This is one of the earliest signs, before any colour change.

  • A year has passed and you cannot recall the last clean

If you cannot remember, it has been longer than you think. A bed slept in every night earns a clean well before a year is out.

What the service includes, and what it does not

The second list is the one that prevents disputes, it is usually in small print, or not written at all.

  • Mattress type and fabric checked

    Mattress type and fabric checked

Sprung, foam and memory foam do not take the same amount of water, so we identify the build before starting.

  • Deep dry vacuum, both sides

    Deep dry vacuum, both sides

Both faces plus the edges and seams are vacuumed before any water goes near them, because steam over dust makes paste.

  • Stains treated by type

    Stains treated by type

A sweat mark is not treated like a spilled drink, so each stain is worked on its own before the general wash.

  • Steam across the face and sides

Steam across the face and sides

Heat releases what has bonded inside the fabric and knocks back dust mites, and the side panels get it too.

  • Wet extraction of the dirty water

Wet extraction of the dirty water

The water and the loosened dirt come straight back out of the filling in the same pass as the steam.

  • Sanitising, airing and moisture control

    Sanitising, airing and moisture control

The odour is treated and the room aired before we leave, because filling left soaked is why a smell comes back.

Not included

  • Repairing torn covers, broken springs or sagging foam
  • Re-stuffing or replacing collapsed padding
  • Removing permanent dyes like dry ink or hair dye
  • Guaranteeing the total removal of long-set yellow stains
  • Treating an active bed-bug infestation, which is a separate service

If your case is one of these, we say so at the survey, not after you have paid. For bed bugs in particular we point you to the right treatment even when the job is not ours.

How a mattress is actually cleaned

The order here is not a detail. Reverse it and you set the dirt and leave the foam damp, and that is the most common thing we are called to fix after someone else.

  1. 1

We identify the cover before we touch it

A quilted cotton cover, a knitted stretch cover and a synthetic surface do not take the same heat or solution. We test on a hidden edge and watch the result before we start.

  2. 2

    Deep dry vacuum first

Before any water. Steaming a dusty mattress turns the dust and dead skin into a paste that soaks into the foam, and that is exactly what leaves it worse than before.

  3. 3

    Stains treated one by one

A sweat stain is worked differently from a spilled drink or a child's accident. Each is treated on its own before the general steam, because the general pass sets whatever is not treated first.

  4. 4

    Steam through the surface

Steam loosens what has bonded inside the fibres and lifts the mites and residue to the surface, worked across the top, the sides and the underside in turn.

  5. 5

    Extract and control the moisture

The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass. A mattress is left slightly damp, never soaked, because saturated foam is the reason a smell returns days after a clean.

  6. 6

    A walk-through with you

We go over the mattress with you before the team leaves. Whatever you point to is redone in the same visit.

What decides the price

We do not publish a fixed figure, because cases genuinely differ. These are the factors we ask about, so you know where your job sits before you call.

The number and size of mattresses

A king bed is not a single child's mattress. We ask how many and what size, because pricing by the room punishes a home with one bed and flatters one with several.

The state of the surface

A mattress cleaned twice a year is not one left for years with set-in stains. The second may need a second pass, and we say so before we begin.

Set-in stains and buildup

Old yellowed sweat stains and dried spills need treating on their own before the general steam. That is priced with the rest, not sprung on you after.

One side or both

A mattress worked top and bottom takes more time than a quick top-only pass. We tell you what the surface needs before we start.

Jobs done in the same visit

Cleaning the mattresses along with the sofa or a rug in one visit costs less than two trips, because the travel and setup are counted once.

Send a photo of the mattress and the size on WhatsApp, and you get the price and rough duration before you commit to anything.

Yourself, or with a team and gear?

It is a fair question, and home steamers are easy to buy now. Here is the honest difference, not the sales one.

What the clean reaches The surface the dust sits on The foam layer underneath
Pulling the dirt back out Most of it stays in the mattress Wet extraction lifts it in the pass
The smell days later Can appear from trapped damp Moisture controlled before we leave
Dust mites and allergens Surface only, the layer below stays Steam reaches where they live
Set-in sweat stains Spread wider when rubbed wet Treated by type before the pass
The real time it takes A full free day for one bed A team working the beds together
If the result goes wrong The mattress wears the mistake The work is redone in the same visit

Why us for this service in particular

We test before we clean

Testing the solution on a hidden edge is a step we treat as necessary, not optional. A cover that is damaged is not made whole again by a discount.

A full team arrives together

We send a team, not a single worker. A house full of beds is finished in one visit instead of being split across two days.

The gear is ours, not rented

The steam and wet-extraction machines come with the team. No waiting because the equipment is at another customer's home.

We say no when it is no

If what you have is a bed-bug problem rather than a dirty mattress, we say so. A visit that treats the wrong thing costs us more in trust than it earns.

The job does not close before you approve it

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.

  • A walk-through with you on every mattress before the team leaves
  • Whatever you point to is redone in the same visit, with no new invoice
  • The agreed price is what is paid; any addition is priced before it is done, not after
  • If the team is running late we tell you before the appointment, not after

Three written commitments

You know the price before we start

We look at the job and agree the figure before any work begins, and nothing is added to it afterwards. If the scope changes during the visit we stop and ask you before carrying on.

A handover walk before we leave

At the end of the visit we walk the place with you. Anything you point at is redone in the same visit, not booked for another one, and at no extra cost.

We keep the time, and tell you if we cannot

We arrive when we said we would. If that becomes impossible you hear it before the appointment rather than after, because waiting without knowing how long is worse than a delay you were told about.

Questions before you book

How long does a mattress take to dry?

It comes out slightly damp, not wet, because the wet extraction pulls most of the water back in the same pass. With the room aired it is usually ready the same day. A closed room with no air movement takes longer, which is why we open up and air before we leave. We suggest leaving the sheets off until it is fully dry.

Do you take the mattress out of the house?

No. The whole job is done in your home, on the bed. Moving a mattress risks bending it and catching dust and damage on the way, and it leaves you without a bed for no reason.

Are the products safe on a child's mattress?

The materials we use are safe once dry, not while still wet. We ask that children stay off the bed until it dries, and tell us in advance if the child has a specific allergy so we can choose the solution accordingly.

Will the yellow stains come out completely?

Not always, and we will not say otherwise. Fresh sweat and most spills lift well, old set-in yellowing usually fades without fully clearing, and permanent dyes like dry ink or hair dye do not come out. We tell you at the survey which stain falls in which group, before you pay.

I think there are bed bugs. Is that this service?

No. Cleaning a mattress removes dust, mites and stains, but it does not treat an active bed-bug infestation, which needs a dedicated treatment. If we see the signs at the survey we tell you and point you to the right service.

How often should a mattress be cleaned?

It depends on use, not the calendar. A bed slept in nightly needs it sooner than a guest-room mattress.

We reach every district in the city

The crew and its equipment travel to you, and the price does not change with the district.

How to book

Four steps, and none of them commits you to paying before you have seen the price.

  1. 1

    You send the details

WhatsApp or a call. One photo is usually enough.

  2. 2

You get a price and a duration

In writing, before you commit to anything. You approve it, or we adjust it.

  3. 3

The crew arrives with its equipment

At the agreed time, with everything the job needs.

  4. 4

    You inspect and approve

A walk-through before we leave. The job is not closed until you are satisfied.
