Disinfecting and sanitising materials

Home Disinfection and Sanitisation Company that cleans surfaces first, then fogs the air

Disinfectant doesn't work on a dirty surface. Grime and grease shield what's underneath, so a spray over a soiled counter mostly wipes the top and leaves the rest. A disinfectant also needs time in contact to do anything, a quick wipe that dries in seconds hasn't worked. Clean first, then let it dwell: that order is the whole difference between disinfecting and just spraying.

  • Price agreed before we start
  • Foggers and products we bring
  • Reworked in the same visit

When does a home actually need disinfecting?

It's rarely about how it looks. If one of these fits, it's worth doing properly.

  • After illness has gone through the house

When a cold or a stomach bug has passed among the household, the high-touch points hold it longest. Disinfecting them is how you stop it circling back.

  • A musty smell that returns after airing

If a room smells stale again soon after you open the windows, something on the surfaces or soft furnishings is holding it. Airing masks it; treating the source clears it.

  • High-touch points feel grimy

Handles, switches and taps that feel tacky are where hands leave the most behind. They're touched constantly and cleaned least.

  • Before moving into a new home

An empty home carries whatever the last occupants left on the surfaces. Disinfecting before you move furniture in starts you from a known clean baseline.

  • After a gathering with many guests

A house full of guests means many hands on the same surfaces and shared bathrooms. A reset afterwards is easier than living with it.

  • A busy household sharing surfaces

The more people share a kitchen and bathrooms, the faster the common touch points build up. Regular treatment keeps that in check.

What the service includes, and what it does not

The second list is the one that prevents disputes, it is usually in small print, or not written at all.

  • Cleaning before disinfecting

    Cleaning before disinfecting

Dirt and grease come off first, because disinfectant on a dirty surface is used up before it can work.

  • The surfaces hands touch most

    The surfaces hands touch most

Handles, switches, buttons and control panels are the priority for disinfection, not the floor on its own.

  • Bathroom taps and handles

    Bathroom taps and handles

Taps, toilet seats and handles are among the busiest transfer points in the home, and each one is disinfected.

  • Kitchen and food surfaces

    Kitchen and food surfaces

Surfaces that food touches are disinfected with a product made for them, then rinsed where that is needed.

  • Drains and grout lines

    Drains and grout lines

Drains and grout hold odour and bacteria that ordinary wiping never reaches, so they are treated on their own.

  • Contact time, then ventilation

    Contact time, then ventilation

The product is left on the surface long enough to work, then the space is aired out before we leave.

Not included

  • Deep cleaning of heavy grease, clutter or built-up stains, a separate service
  • Mould remediation inside walls, ceilings or plumbing
  • Pest treatment, a different service with different materials
  • Medical-grade sterilisation of instruments or equipment

If your home needs one of these, we say so at inspection, not after payment. In most cases we point you to the right service even when the work isn't ours.

How disinfection is actually done

The order isn't a detail. Disinfect before cleaning, or wipe it off before it dwells, and you've achieved nothing.

  1. 1

We ask what happened, then plan for it

A move-in, an illness and an after-party aren't the same job. Knowing the reason decides which rooms and surfaces get the focus and which product is right.

  2. 2

    Clean the surface before disinfecting

Grime and grease shield what's under them. We clean first so the disinfectant lands on the surface itself, not on the dirt sitting on it.

  3. 3

Contact time, not just a wipe

A disinfectant has to stay wet on the surface to work. We let it dwell instead of wiping it straight off, which is the step most quick jobs skip.

  4. 4

    High-touch points by hand

Handles, switches, taps and rails are done by hand because they carry the most and need direct contact that fogging alone doesn't give.

  5. 5

Fog the air and soft furnishings

Once the hard surfaces are done, a fine fog reaches the air, the fabrics and the corners a cloth can't, settling over what hand-wiping misses.

  6. 6

Ventilate, then walk it with you

We open up and air the rooms, then walk the home with you before leaving. Anything you point to is redone in the same visit.

What decides the price

We do not publish a fixed figure, because cases genuinely differ. These are the factors we ask about, so you know where your job sits before you call.

Area and number of rooms

A single room isn't a whole home. We price by the space actually treated, so a targeted job costs less than a full-house treatment.

The reason for the service

A routine reset is lighter than a treatment after illness, which needs more focus on the touch points and more care. The reason shapes the work.

How dirty the surfaces are first

If surfaces need real cleaning before they can be disinfected, that's more work than a light wipe-down. We flag it at inspection rather than after.

Fogging, hand-wiping, or both

Some jobs need both the hand pass and the fog; some need only one. What the case calls for changes the time and the materials.

One visit or a repeat schedule

A regular schedule is lighter each visit than a one-off, because less accumulates between visits. Recurring care costs less per visit.

Tell us the reason and the rooms involved on WhatsApp, and an estimated price and time reach you before you commit.

A spray bottle yourself, or a proper treatment?

It's a fair question, and disinfectant is on every shelf. Here's the real difference, not the label.

The surface before treatment Sprayed over as-is Cleaned first, then disinfected
Contact time Wiped off in seconds Left to dwell as the product needs
High-touch points Hit or miss Every one done by hand
Air and soft furnishings Not reached by wiping Fogged after the surfaces are done
The hidden shared points Usually missed Treated deliberately
If a spot is missed You find it later Redone in the same visit

Why us for this service in particular

Clean first, then disinfect

The common mistake is spraying disinfectant over dirt. We clean the surface first, because product spent on grime never reaches what you're trying to treat.

A full team arrives together

The company runs a large crew, and we send a team rather than one person. Hand-wiping and fogging happen across rooms in parallel, so a whole home is done in one visit.

Our foggers and products

The foggers and the products come with the team. No waiting and no improvising because the equipment is at another customer's home.

We say no when it's no

If what you need is deep cleaning or mould work rather than disinfection, we tell you. A service that doesn't fit your problem costs us your trust.

The job isn't closed until you approve it

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we don't leave until you've seen the result and had your say on it.

  • We walk the home with you before the team leaves
  • Anything you point to is redone in the same visit, with no new invoice
  • The agreed price is what you pay, any extra is quoted before it's done, not after
  • If the team is delayed, you hear from us before the appointment, not after

Three written commitments

You know the price before we start

We look at the job and agree the figure before any work begins, and nothing is added to it afterwards. If the scope changes during the visit we stop and ask you before carrying on.

A handover walk before we leave

At the end of the visit we walk the place with you. Anything you point at is redone in the same visit, not booked for another one, and at no extra cost.

We keep the time, and tell you if we cannot

We arrive when we said we would. If that becomes impossible you hear it before the appointment rather than after, because waiting without knowing how long is worse than a delay you were told about.

Questions before you book

How long does the disinfectant need before the room can be used?

It needs its dwell time on the surface first, and then we ventilate before leaving. Once the surfaces are dry and aired the room is ready to use, and the wait is short with windows open and air moving. We'll tell you at the visit if any product needs a little longer before use.

Does the disinfectant leave residue on surfaces children touch?

Surfaces that food touches are rinsed after the contact time, so nothing is left sitting on them. Elsewhere the products are safe once dry, not while wet, so we ask that children and pets stay out of a room until it's dry and aired. If anyone in the home has a sensitivity, tell us in advance so we choose the product around it.

Is this the same as deep cleaning?

No. Deep cleaning removes built-up dirt, grease and stains. Disinfection reduces germs on surfaces that are already clean. We clean the surface as part of disinfecting, but heavy build-up is a separate deep-clean job, and we'll say so if that's what you need.

Does fogging alone disinfect the house?

Fogging reaches the air and soft surfaces, but it isn't the whole job on its own. High-touch points need hand contact with dwell time to be properly done. We use both where the case calls for it, rather than relying on the fog to cover everything.

Can you disinfect after someone has been ill?

Yes, and it's one of the more common reasons people call. We focus on the high-touch points and shared surfaces where illness lingers, clean them first, then treat with contact time. Tell us which rooms the person used most so we concentrate there.

How often should a home be disinfected?

It depends on the household and the reason, not a fixed calendar. An ordinary home benefits most from regular attention to the points hands actually touch: handles, light switches, kitchen surfaces and bathroom fittings. The need rises after illness in the house, with an infant or an elderly relative at home, or after a spell of heavy hosting. In every case we clean first and disinfect after, because the product does not work on a surface that is still soiled.

We reach every district in the city

The crew and its equipment travel to you, and the price does not change with the district.

How to book

Four steps, and none of them commits you to paying before you have seen the price.

  1. 1

    You send the details

WhatsApp or a call. One photo is usually enough.

  2. 2

You get a price and a duration

In writing, before you commit to anything. You approve it, or we adjust it.

  3. 3

The crew arrives with its equipment

At the agreed time, with everything the job needs.

  4. 4

    You inspect and approve

A walk-through before we leave. The job is not closed until you are satisfied.
