We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden edge is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Quba is a small district far from the sea and near open ground and hills east of Jeddah. The dust here is coarse and pale, entering under doors and settling on every surface overnight. Mountain dust works deeper into mattress foam than coastal dust does, and the dry air means it stays dry once it lands.
Mountain dust in Quba settles on mattresses very quickly and the mattresses dry faster here than in coastal areas because the air is dry. However, the gritty residue particles scratch the fabric when rubbed. For the method itself, see what mattress cleaning involves.
Dry air carries sharp sandy particles from open ground and nearby hills. They enter under doors and window frames despite being closed, settling on the mattress quickly. The grit is angular and hard, and will scratch the cover fabric if scraped rather than vacuumed away.
Roof tanks in older homes hold hard mineral water. If the mattress absorbs moisture from any source, this water leaves a grey film of mineral scale that is difficult to dissolve and remove from the fabric.
The dry climate means fast drying after cleaning, which is a gain. However, mountain dust is heavy and settles deep into the foam, needing strong repeated suction to extract it completely before it scratches the cover.
A small district away from the coast, close to the University of Jeddah Road and open plains with hills beyond. The air is dry and the dust is coarse and pale, easily entering homes under doors and through window frames.
Mattresses in Quba may have a coarse woven cover that withstands gritty dust, or a delicate fabric that scrapes easily. We check the cover type before starting, as the cleaning approach depends on it.
Dry suction starts at high power to extract mountain dust from deep layers, with extra attention to edges where heavy grit compacts and builds up over months.
Stains here are usually salt or sun-burnt dust marks. We treat them with a solvent that dissolves these mineral stains before extraction pulls them away.
Both surfaces are cleaned with suction followed by very gentle rubbing, because the cover may be sensitive to the sharp grit already embedded in the weave.
Wet extraction pulls dirty water and dissolved minerals away. The dry air here means drying happens naturally without extra moisture control equipment needed.
Sanitising and airing are quick here because the climate is dry. We acknowledge that dust may return from the street within weeks unless door seals and window frames are improved.
A quilted cotton cover, a knitted stretch cover and a synthetic surface do not take the same heat or solution.
Before any water.
A sweat stain is worked differently from a spilled drink or a child's accident.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres, by the method that suits the mattress, and lift the residue to the surface, worked across the top, the sides and the underside in turn.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the mattress with you before the team leaves.

We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and wet-extraction machines come with the team.
If what you have is a bed-bug problem rather than a dirty mattress, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Quba too, and more than one can share a single visit.
