We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden edge is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Rughamah is a relatively older district in east Jeddah within the hills and valley belt near Mareekh Mountains, where air is drier than the coast but dust is coarser and paler. Mountains, wadis and ring roads funnel dry air carrying grit and rock fragments, not salt and oily soot. Mattresses here need strong vacuum and cleaning built for coarse mineral dust, not coastal salt and diesel soot.
Dust comes in under doors before dawn and settles on every flat surface, making mattresses, sofas and curtains the heaviest part of the weekly cleaning routine for residents. For the method itself, see our guide to mattress cleaning.
Location between mountains and wadis means air carries mineral grit and stone particles, not salt or moisture from the sea. This pale coarse dust is harder on mattresses because it scratches rather than dissolves. Strong vacuum removes it but the mattress needs careful inspection to ensure grit has not worked between the foam layers.
Relative dryness means sweat and moisture do not build up as easily as on the coast, but dry dust oxidises and leaves a dull film on mattresses and curtains. Cleaning here needs strong horizontal scrubbing, not just vertical suction alone.
Hard water and overhead storage tanks leave a grey film of calcium and minerals on every wet surface. This mineral scale sticks to mattresses during cleaning and needs specialist descaling treatment before final drying to prevent white residue on fabric.
Al Rughamah lies within the hills and valley belt east of Jeddah, far from the sea and close to open ground and mountains, where the air is dry and dust is coarse and pale from grit and broken stone.
Mattresses in older flats and villas in Al Rughamah are mixed in age and fabric type, so inspection identifies whether it needs aggressive vacuum or gentler handling for weak seams.
Deep dry vacuum here needs exceptional power because coarse mountain grit clings harder than soft coastal salt does.
Stains from oxidised dust, sweat and hard water marks need staged treatment because each stain type is completely different.
Cleaning both sides and edges requires stronger friction here to handle grit particles that may have worked between fibres during the dry season.
Wet extraction removes dirty water and mineral scale together, and we need descaling treatment before drying to prevent grey residue left on the fabric.
Sanitising, airing and moisture control are easier here because air is dry, but we must take care not to reintroduce dust during airing if outside air is thick with grit.
A quilted cotton cover, a knitted stretch cover and a synthetic surface do not take the same heat or solution.
Before any water.
A sweat stain is worked differently from a spilled drink or a child's accident.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres, by the method that suits the mattress, and lift the residue to the surface, worked across the top, the sides and the underside in turn.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the mattress with you before the team leaves.

We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and wet-extraction machines come with the team.
If what you have is a bed-bug problem rather than a dirty mattress, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Al Rughamah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
