We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden edge is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Qawzain is a small seaside village at the far south of Jeddah on the Southern Corniche near Al Seef Beach, and mattresses here face high humidity and sea salt and salty air. Winds carry ocean spray directly into the flats and homes, so sea salts deposit in the fill and leave a musty smell.
Humidity in Al Qawzain is higher than anywhere in Jeddah, and sea salt settles on everything daily. Mattresses absorb the salt and trap it in the fill for weeks. For the method itself, see the full mattress cleaning page.
Ocean spray carries ultra fine salt that enters the home with the air and settles in the mattress. Salt does not dissolve in plain water but needs targeted treatment before strong extraction.
Humidity on the corniche persists even after cleaning, so the mattress dries slowly and may reabsorb moisture from outside air before it is fully dry.
The nearby iron works sends oils and soot that blend with sea salt in the air, so the mattress absorbs a greasy salty mix that is difficult to remove.

The mattress type and cover fabric determine how much salt and humidity it can take before losing shape.
Deep dry vacuum removes fine salt particles from layers before chemical treatment.
Salt and soot need targeted chemical treatment before wet extraction.
Cleaning targets layers because salt will have penetrated from the surface and settled deep.
Wet extraction must be very strong to pull salt and salt water from the fill.
Drying and ventilation need several days and continuous airing, and may need windows and fans working hard.
A quilted cotton cover, a knitted stretch cover and a synthetic surface do not take the same heat or solution.
Before any water.
A sweat stain is worked differently from a spilled drink or a child's accident.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres, by the method that suits the mattress, and lift the residue to the surface, worked across the top, the sides and the underside in turn.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the mattress with you before the team leaves.

We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and wet-extraction machines come with the team.
If what you have is a bed-bug problem rather than a dirty mattress, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
South Jeddah runs from the port and the industrial city down towards Al Khumrah, and homes here sit between the sea and the heavy goods roads. The dust is darker and oilier than in the north, a mix of diesel soot and workshop grit, and it clings to net curtains, window sills and the tops of kitchen cupboards. Floors in the older low rise housing are often plain cement or ceramic tile that darkens where soot is walked in. Humidity from the coast adds mildew in bathrooms and a musty smell in stored fabrics.
We provide these in Al Qawzain too, and more than one can share a single visit.
