We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden edge is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Wadi Usheirah is a rural, sparsely built area in the Jabal Khashash hills with scattered homes among farms and open ground. Homes here sit far apart, but mattresses suffer from red soil dust, seasonal moisture swings and dried plant matter that drifts in through open windows and doorways. This dust and humidity accumulate across the seasons faster than in town.
Rural homes here lack full air conditioning and windows stay open much longer than city homes. A mattress here absorbs in one season what a city mattress absorbs in a single month. For the method itself, see the full mattress cleaning page.
The red soil and limestone from Jabal Khashash blows with the wind and enters through open windows and doors. This dust is not fine powder but sharp grit that scratches mattress fibres and embeds rapidly in the mid-layers over days, not weeks.
In the hills humidity is not steady like the coast but changes rapidly with seasons. Winter is dry, spring is damp, summer brings dry winds. Mattresses flex with these rapid swings, developing fine cracks and trapping last season's mould as new moisture arrives.
Homes are surrounded by small farms and family gardens where irrigation adds constant moisture to the ground. At night the moisture from irrigated soil reaches the nearby home, and mattresses absorb these sudden surges of high humidity.
The area is open and sparsely populated, with homes spread between farms and pasture. Red gypsum soil dust enters from every direction, and irrigation moisture rises from the open ground at night.
Rural mattresses range from old villas with inherited mattresses to newer homes with recently bought models. Fabric and filling vary widely, so pre-cleaning inspection is essential to select the right approach for each type.
Red soil, sand and sharp particles from the ground require powerful deep dry vacuum that reaches inner layers where these particles penetrate the fibres and embed themselves.
Stains here mix red soil deposits with moisture marks, mould and organic residue. Each type needs separate inspection and targeted treatment to lift completely.
Cleaning must cover both sides, edges and the full perimeter carefully because sharp dust seeps into edges and hides in seams, causing odour to return if left behind.
Wet extraction must be precise and drying stronger than in-town work, because the rural humid environment and proximity to irrigated soil return moisture very quickly.
Sanitising, airing and precise humidity control are essential before we leave, because open windows, seasonal moisture and proximity to farms return moisture and mould to the mattress rapidly.
A quilted cotton cover, a knitted stretch cover and a synthetic surface do not take the same heat or solution.
Before any water.
A sweat stain is worked differently from a spilled drink or a child's accident.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres, by the method that suits the mattress, and lift the residue to the surface, worked across the top, the sides and the underside in turn.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the mattress with you before the team leaves.

We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and wet-extraction machines come with the team.
If what you have is a bed-bug problem rather than a dirty mattress, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
Rural area: farms, open ground and scattered homes
Rural life, scattered distances and surrounding farms mean faster dust movement and sharper humidity swings than in town. Mattresses need more regular, planned cleaning and stronger drying, plus ongoing protective measures, because sharp dust and seasonal moisture return to the open home very quickly.
We provide these in Wadi Usheirah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
