We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden edge is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Salmiyah is a crowded apartment district in central Jeddah east of Palestine Street, with high population density and compact units. Mattresses here face different challenges: confined spaces, shared hallways and staircases that trap stale air, walls that adjoins neighbours' flats on both sides, and water tanks on the roof that are old and may leak or hold sediment that raises indoor humidity.
The standardised flats in Al Salmiyah hold similar old mattresses, some of which have been moved through narrow stairwells several times, and trapped moisture has made them heavy and foul smelling. For the method itself, see the full mattress cleaning page.
The shared entry corridor and tight staircases in apartment blocks mean stagnant air holds moisture. Mattresses in the innermost flats feel no natural breeze, so they accumulate odour and faint mildew.
Every flat shares a wall with a neighbour, and if that neighbour's unit is damp or has a leak, moisture travels through the wall. The mattress in the adjoining flat absorbs that moisture and holds it.
Water tanks on the roof are decades old, may corrode or leak, or store sediment. Water drawn from them may carry rust or fine silt that raises humidity in the flat and deposits on surfaces.
The apartments in Al Salmiyah are small and closely stacked, with shared entrances and aged rooftop water storage, and moisture seeps through the party walls from one unit to its neighbours.
The flat mattress may be old or may have moved from another unit, and the outer cover may have loose seams from repeated shifting through narrow passages.
Dry vacuum here needs moderate power, because tight quarters mean very heavy equipment is impractical. We use smaller, more flexible tools instead.
Stains from light mildew or old body fluid are common in these units. Each type requires specific chemistry that dissolves the problem without soaking the mattress.
Deep cleaning focuses on sides and seams because stagnant air collects dust and odours there.
Wet extraction needs care here because tight space means slower drying. We use powerful suction to remove as much water as possible.
Sanitising and extended airing are essential, and we advise leaving a window open for a full night after cleaning to prevent moisture and mildew from regrouping.
A quilted cotton cover, a knitted stretch cover and a synthetic surface do not take the same heat or solution.
Before any water.
A sweat stain is worked differently from a spilled drink or a child's accident.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres, by the method that suits the mattress, and lift the residue to the surface, worked across the top, the sides and the underside in turn.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the mattress with you before the team leaves.

We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and wet-extraction machines come with the team.
If what you have is a bed-bug problem rather than a dirty mattress, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
Al Salmiyah lies east of Palestine Street in central Jeddah, and access is best from Al Salmiyah Mosque to the east or via Abi Al Ala Intermediate School from the south, both of which orient us to the main entry points of the residential blocks.
We provide these in Al Salmiyah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
