We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden edge is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Um Al Salam is a mixed popular district in east Jeddah on the Old Makkah Road, with low rise homes, narrow streets and everyday shops, and the air here is drier and coarser than Jeddah's coast. Mattresses absorb stone dust and grit from the open roads, and cleaning must extract this heavy dust from deep layers.
Coarse dust and road grit from open ground settles faster and deeper in mattresses here because dry air does not trap particles with moisture. For the method itself, see our mattress cleaning service in detail.
In dry air, heavy particles from roads and open ground do not hover but drop quickly to the mattress base and stay there longer than in humid places.
Open ground dust is coarser than coastal dust, and particles penetrate the fill and rub the fibres from within, leaving a rough feel that simple cleaning does not shift.
The district sits far from sea but carries mineral salts from dry ground and natural sources in its air, leaving dry white marks on the mattress unlike salt from the coast.

Inspection shows how much grit has entered and what fill type it is and how much pressure it can take.
Deep dry vacuum pulls heavy particles from the base before they embed more deeply.
White mineral marks from the ground need treatment with dilute solution and strong extraction.
Cleaning targets layers because grit will have sunk to the base under body weight.
Wet extraction must be light in dry areas to avoid bringing in unnecessary moisture.
Drying is quick in dry air, and ventilation focuses on even air distribution to prevent salt deposits settling.
A quilted cotton cover, a knitted stretch cover and a synthetic surface do not take the same heat or solution.
Before any water.
A sweat stain is worked differently from a spilled drink or a child's accident.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres, by the method that suits the mattress, and lift the residue to the surface, worked across the top, the sides and the underside in turn.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the mattress with you before the team leaves.
Mixed district: shops at street level with homes above them
A mixed district means mattresses of different types: some in small flats with limited windows and some in homes with large windows, and coarse dust affects each differently based on exposure and ventilation.
Testing the solution on a hidden edge is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.
We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and wet-extraction machines come with the team.
If what you have is a bed-bug problem rather than a dirty mattress, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Um Al Salam too, and more than one can share a single visit.
