We know builder's dust
This is not a heavier version of a normal clean.

Um Al Salam is a relatively old mixed district in south east Jeddah on Old Makkah Road, with flats directly above shops and shared passages that are quite tight. Construction dust here is finer but damp from old walls and working-class streets clings to surfaces longer, leaving a musty smell in stored cloth.
Damp from old walls and the nearby drain means dirt and dust stick harder, and cleaning needs moisture management first before true removal is possible. For the method itself, see how we approach post-construction cleaning.
Um Al Salam is an old district and walls in the popular housing keep moisture trapped from within the house, especially after winter. Damp stops cleaning solutions sticking to surfaces, so dirt slides off water instead of being lifted. We advise opening windows for hours before cleaning starts.
Shared passages are very tight and flats sit close together, so construction dust from one unit travels into adjacent flats through gaps. Cleaning needs tight sealing and the tight passage means equipment access is difficult.
Old Makkah Road carries heavy traffic and black oily soot clings to windows and exterior surfaces. This soot differs from fine building dust and needs stronger solvent and scraping to remove.
The district is old and popular, with buildings packed close on the lorry route to Makkah. Shared passages are very tight between the close flats, and old walls retain more moisture than newer neighbourhoods, especially in bathrooms and enclosed corners.
Dust and soot fall from ceiling and the outside passage together, so we start at the top of the passage before the flat itself because the passage carries soot from the street.
Cement and plaster on floors and old walls needs careful scraping because the walls may have weak paint adhesion from moisture.
Interior glass and windows may carry a grey layer of damp and soot together, which we clean multiple times with gaps to ensure complete drying.
Paint spatter may be mixed with street soot, requiring light scraping then rinsing.
Stickers and old dirt may be damp and hardened, requiring careful removal to avoid scratching the old surface.
Ceramic floors are washed last with clean water and repeated rinses because oily soot may leave a layer if we do not rinse enough.
We start at the ceiling, vents and the tops of everything, then work down.
The fine powder is vacuumed and dry-collected first.
Windows, mirrors and the sliding tracks are cleared of grit and sticker residue before the wet stage, so nothing muddy is dragged across them later.
Grout haze, paint spots and adhesive are worked off tile, stone and fixtures with the method each surface can take, tested before we commit to it.
Every closed space is opened and cleared, because that is where settled dust hides until you reach for a plate months later.
Floors are washed only after all the dust above has come down, then we walk the home with you and anything you point to is redone before we leave.
Mixed district: shops at street level with homes above them
Shops beneath flats and tight passages mean post-construction dust and soot need treatment from top to bottom, and sealing gaps is essential so dust does not return from the shop or passage after we finish.
This is not a heavier version of a normal clean.
The company runs a large crew and we send a team, not a single cleaner.
The vacuums and materials come with the team, not rented on the day.
If a paint spot or cured cement mark cannot come off without risking the surface, we tell you at the inspection rather than damaging it to look busy.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have walked the home and told us what you think.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Um Al Salam too, and more than one can share a single visit.
