We know builder's dust
This is not a heavier version of a normal clean.

Al Balad is historic Jeddah's commercial heart, where coral limestone tower houses with wooden rawashin latticework line narrow lanes alongside the Alawi and Bedouin souqs around Bab Makkah and Bab Sharif, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. Old buildings have many gaps and openings where dust enters freely, and floors are ancient stone and very old marble that are delicate and scratch easily. Cleaning Al Balad is complex because the district has aged services and structures everywhere, and every error risks damage to historic material.
Al Balad is very old, floors are stone and marble that may be centuries old. Dust enters from narrow streets and thin wooden windows, and constant moisture makes cleaning this district slower and more difficult. For the method itself, see our guide to post-construction cleaning.
Al Balad houses contain coral limestone from centuries past and very old marble. Each material is tender and sensitive, unable to tolerate acids, salt or hard scrubbing. Cleaning it takes patience and only the gentlest natural cleaners.
The Alawi and Bedouin souqs around Bab Makkah and Bab Sharif trade all day and cook constantly. Cooking grease and smells rise into the old flats above the markets. Flats above need strong ventilation and special cleaning to lift trapped odours.
Al Balad buildings were built of stone without modern cement, so they have many cracks and gaps. Ancient electrical and water pipes left stains and residue. Dust settles in every crack and needs powerful but gentle vacuum suction.
The old district has narrow stone-paved lanes, active neighbourhood markets beneath flats, and aged electricity and water pipes embedded in the walls. Moisture from the nearby sea and old sewers keep the district permanently damp.
Dust in Al Balad enters from narrow streets and thin wooden windows. We start with gentle suction from windows, ceilings and tight corners before any water.
Cement residue on ancient stone and old marble we remove with warm water only and very soft sponge. We never use strong cleaners or acids.
Glass in old wooden window frames may be stained with moisture and street dirt. We wash with warm water and care for the delicate wooden frames.
Paint spatter on ancient stone we soften with warm water and patience, then scrape very carefully with soft sponge, never scratching the old material.
Stickers and old residue on stone come off with warm water and long patience, and very soft sponge. Stubborn old stains may take hours to soften.
Stone and very old marble floors are washed last with warm water only, dried with soft cloth and strong ventilation to prevent moisture remaining.
We start at the ceiling, vents and the tops of everything, then work down.
The fine powder is vacuumed and dry-collected first.
Windows, mirrors and the sliding tracks are cleared of grit and sticker residue before the wet stage, so nothing muddy is dragged across them later.
Grout haze, paint spots and adhesive are worked off tile, stone and fixtures with the method each surface can take, tested before we commit to it.
Every closed space is opened and cleared, because that is where settled dust hides until you reach for a plate months later.
Floors are washed only after all the dust above has come down, then we walk the home with you and anything you point to is redone before we leave.
This is not a heavier version of a normal clean.
The company runs a large crew and we send a team, not a single cleaner.
The vacuums and materials come with the team, not rented on the day.
If a paint spot or cured cement mark cannot come off without risking the surface, we tell you at the inspection rather than damaging it to look busy.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have walked the home and told us what you think.
Al Balad centres on Nassif House and Al Shafi'i Mosque in historic Jeddah's heart. The Alawi and Bedouin souqs around Bab Makkah and Bab Sharif mark the district zones and help navigate the tight lanes.
We provide these in Al Balad too, and more than one can share a single visit.
