We know builder's dust
This is not a heavier version of a normal clean.

Al Mazloom is one of the four historic quarters inside the walled old city of Jeddah, with ancient stone and timber houses in the roshan style and very narrow lanes. Main road dust arrives black and fine mixed with cooking grease that drifts up from the shops below and the street. The old terrazzo floors are smooth and beautiful but stain easily, and the kitchens and bathrooms carry heavy lime scale from decades of use.
Fine black main road dust clings to carpets and curtains more deeply than anywhere else, and the worn smooth terrazzo retains cooking residue stubbornly. For the method itself, see how we approach post-construction cleaning.
Al Mazloom sits in the heart of Al Balad, and main roads run past the buildings directly. Vehicle dust is black and very fine, mixed with cooking grease that rises from the commercial units below and the street. Carpets and curtains lodge this dust deep in their fibres, and the shops at street level open directly onto the road, so dust and grease enter the apartments together through shared stairs and doorways.
Old flooring is smooth terrazzo worn down over generations of use. Terrazzo is beautiful but stains easily from cooking grease and black dust. Grease leaves dull marks that are difficult to lift, and very gentle scraping is necessary to avoid scratching the ancient flooring further.
Kitchens and bathrooms in Al Mazloom are very old indeed, carrying layers of lime scale accumulated on taps and around drains. Very old pipework leaves brown rust marks in basins and baths. These deposits have built up over many decades and may not be completely removable.
One of the four historic quarters inside the old city wall in the north east section of Al Balad, with heritage stone and timber residential buildings in the traditional roshan style.
Black dust and grease flow from the main street and up from shops below, so suction from top to bottom starts with curtains and furniture.
Cement and plaster dust is mixed with grease and black dust, and scraping needs specialist care.
Old glass and ceramic carry a black layer of dust and grease, and double washing is essential.
Paint spatter may be hidden under the black dust, and deep cleaning will reveal it.
Old stickers and adhesive are very hard to remove because of damp and dust and grease.
Very old terrazzo flooring is smooth and delicate, and the final mop needs great care.
We start at the ceiling, vents and the tops of everything, then work down.
The fine powder is vacuumed and dry-collected first.
Windows, mirrors and the sliding tracks are cleared of grit and sticker residue before the wet stage, so nothing muddy is dragged across them later.
Grout haze, paint spots and adhesive are worked off tile, stone and fixtures with the method each surface can take, tested before we commit to it.
Every closed space is opened and cleared, because that is where settled dust hides until you reach for a plate months later.
Floors are washed only after all the dust above has come down, then we walk the home with you and anything you point to is redone before we leave.
Historic district: close-set buildings, narrow lanes and ageing services
Historic district means close heritage construction and very narrow lanes, and dust and grease from the street and shops drift in easily. Coordination with the shops and careful sealing of shared doors is essential to prevent dust and grease from returning to the apartments.
This is not a heavier version of a normal clean.
The company runs a large crew and we send a team, not a single cleaner.
The vacuums and materials come with the team, not rented on the day.
If a paint spot or cured cement mark cannot come off without risking the surface, we tell you at the inspection rather than damaging it to look busy.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have walked the home and told us what you think.
Central Jeddah is the old heart of the city: Al Balad with its coral stone houses, and the dense apartment quarters around it with shops beneath the flats. Floors here are often terrazzo or older ceramic tile, worn smooth and easily stained by cooking grease that drifts up from the street. Older kitchens and bathrooms carry heavy scale on taps and around drains, and pipework in the older blocks leaves rust marks in basins. Rugs and curtains take on the fine black dust of the main roads, so they need washing more often than elsewhere.
We provide these in Al Mazloom too, and more than one can share a single visit.
