We test before we treat
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.

Mareekh is a small eastern district at the foot of the Mareekh Mountains, near Wadi Al Qaws, which was the source of Jeddah's famous 2009 flood. The air here is dry and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast, and sediment from water storage leaves a grey film in tanks. Pools need different care than coastal neighbourhoods.
Dust here is coarse and pale, slips under doors and settles on every surface very quickly. Sediment from roof tanks leaves a grey film in bathrooms and basins. For the method itself, see our guide to swimming pool cleaning.
Mareekh sits far from the sea and the air is very dry, so pool water evaporates faster than in coastal neighbourhoods. Fast evaporation leaves salt and minerals concentrated in the remaining water, so chemical balance shifts quickly. Pool water becomes heavy with salt faster than expected.
Dust in east Jeddah is coarse and grey, large particles not fine powder like coastal dust. These grains clog the filter fast, vacuuming needs stronger standards, and the filter needs frequent backwash to keep up.
Water from roof tanks carries mineral sediment, and concentrated water leaves a thick grey film on pool walls, in baths and on basins. This film is heavy and needs regular brushing and special chemical care to prevent build up.
A small simple district in east Jeddah, on hills and valley terrain near Wadi Al Qaws. The dust is coarser and paler in colour than on the coast, and the air is much drier.
Water here evaporates fast and mineral concentration rises, so testing first measures salt and mineral levels and determines the right treatment.
Grey film on walls comes from minerals and concentrated water, and brushing needs special chemical treatment to remove the thick sediment.
Coarse dust accumulates on the floor fast, and vacuuming must focus on corners where larger grains settle.
The skimmer fills with coarse dust and sediment, so we clean it carefully and check the water draw is correct.
The filter needs frequent backwash from coarse dust, possibly weekly or twice weekly.
After treatment, we test mineral concentration and salt levels and confirm the water is balanced and safe to use.
pH, sanitiser and hardness are read at the start.
Floating leaves and debris come off before we brush.
Algae and the oily waterline film cling to the surfaces.
Silt settles in the deep end and the corners the return jets never reach.
The skimmer and pump baskets are cleared and the filter checked or backwashed.
With the water clean, we balance and dose, then walk the pool with you before leaving.

The company runs a large crew, and we send a team rather than one person.
Pumps, vacuum heads and the test kit come with the team.
If the pump or the plumbing is the real problem, we tell you.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we don't leave until you've seen the result and had your say on it.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Mareekh too, and more than one can share a single visit.
