We treat the incense, not mask it
Bakhoor residue is cleaned out of the seating and curtains and off the walls, so fresh oud is not sitting on months of old smoke.

Al Qawzain is a small seaside settlement at the far southern edge of Jeddah on the Southern Corniche, and its majlis rooms suffer from high humidity, salt air and heavy soot from nearby industrial works. Salty air and moisture penetrate everything, and furniture and ceilings need deep drying and constant protection.
Coastal majlis rooms collect humidity and salt rapidly, ceilings and furniture show faint mould marks and damp smell persists even after cleaning. For the method itself, see our majlis and diwaniya cleaning service in detail.
The coastal location means continuous moisture and salty air all year round. Salt penetrates fabrics and walls and corrodes metals. Upholstery and curtains trap moisture and salt deeply, and ceilings show faint mould marks from the permanent dampness.
The treatment works and factory nearby release heavy soot and oily residue continuously. This soot clings to curtains and furniture mixed with salt and moisture, creating multi layered deposits that are extremely difficult to clean.
Marble erodes slowly from salt exposure, metals corrode rapidly, and glass leaves permanent salt stains. Regular cleaning and complete drying are essential to protect all surfaces from rapid damage.
The coastal quarter sits between King Faisal Road and the Southern Corniche, close to a sewage treatment plant and an iron factory.
Ceilings and corners collect salt laden moisture and soot grease, with visible faint mould marks.
Furniture needs careful dry dusting then complete drying to remove trapped moisture.
Glass and mirrors acquire white salt deposits, requiring specialist solutions to remove.
Marble floors need sweeping, washing and immediate drying to protect the surface from corrosion.
The attached bathroom has very heavy salt moisture and mould, so antimicrobial treatment and drying are essential.
Extended final airing and complete drying are needed to remove all trapped moisture.
Seating, carpet, curtains and surfaces, before anything starts, so we agree the scope and what the price covers.
Majlis seating and curtains vary from cotton to velvet and heavy weaves, and they do not take the same heat or product.
Before any water, on the seating and the carpet both.
Gahwa, cardamom and food are not one problem.
We choose the method after seeing each piece, loosen what has bound into the seating and carpet, and extraction pulls it straight back out with the water, in one pass, so nothing is left soaking in the foam.
We go back through the room with you.

We test the fabric on a hidden spot before we clean it.
The company runs several teams, and we send a team rather than one person.
If the seating needs reupholstering rather than cleaning, we say so.

The commitment is small enough to actually keep: we do not leave until you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
South Jeddah runs from the port and the industrial city down towards Al Khumrah, and homes here sit between the sea and the heavy goods roads. The dust is darker and oilier than in the north, a mix of diesel soot and workshop grit, and it clings to net curtains, window sills and the tops of kitchen cupboards. Floors in the older low rise housing are often plain cement or ceramic tile that darkens where soot is walked in. Humidity from the coast adds mildew in bathrooms and a musty smell in stored fabrics.
We provide these in Al Qawzain too, and more than one can share a single visit.
