We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Taybah is a newly established northern district near Wadi Obhur on Asfan Road, with villa subdivisions still under construction on relatively elevated ground. The air here is drier than the south but the nearby wadi may bring seasonal moisture. Construction dust swirls from excavators and concrete mixers, and large new windows admit air directly. New curtains soil quickly from cement and sand together.
Curtains here soil from construction dust and fine sand fast. New homes with large windows allow greater volumes of dust to enter. For the method itself, see our guide to curtain cleaning.
Powdered cement and sand from building sites penetrate new weaves. The dust is heavy and sticky. Strong dry vacuuming, cool water washing and gentle soaking remove it. Curtains may need frequent cleaning while building continues.
Wadi Obhur lies close to the district. In rainy seasons it may flood or bring dampness. Homes near the wadi may absorb extra moisture. Good drying and ventilation are essential.
New villas have very large windows. These admit larger volumes of dust and air. Long and wide curtains collect more than in other districts.
The district is new and positioned near Wadi Obhur. The ground is relatively high so air is less humid than south Jeddah. Building is active with modern plans featuring large windows throughout.
New fabrics in Taybah are sensitive to construction dust and moisture together. We test first and use cool water only. Hard washing may damage new textiles.
Removing curtains from modern large windows is straightforward. Dust may have entered the rings so we clean them during removal. Rehang goes on clean metal only.
Dry vacuuming removes most construction dust. Fine sand may need moderate vacuum power. Gentle soaking may help if dust is sticky.
Cement stains are rare but we treat any traces with specialist solution before washing. Most construction dust lifts with cool water and soaking.
New fabrics wash in cool water only. Rinsing is frequent to remove all dust and moisture. We never use electric dryers on sensitive new textiles.
Air drying on a line in shade keeps the large curtains hanging true. Rehang is easy with new modern rails. Ventilation for hours after hanging completes drying.
Cotton, linen, velvet, blackout weave and synthetic sheers do not take the same heat or the same solution.
Before any water.
A water spot at the hem is not treated like a greasy film near a kitchen.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres across the full panel, both faces and top to hem, with the method that suits the fabric, while the curtains stay on the rail so the drape is not disturbed.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the panels with you before the team leaves.
New development: ongoing construction and vacant plots between the homes
New villas in Taybah are large with very long modern curtains. Active building means constant dust. Large modern windows admit volumes of dust. We know how to handle large modern curtains and building site challenges in an emerging new district.
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.
We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and extraction machines come with the team.
If a panel needs a tailor rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Taybah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
