We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Bashaer is a new district in north Jeddah on the Asfan Ring Road, with recently built villas and apartments alongside rest houses and subdivisions still under construction. The neighbourhood sits away from the sea and main expressways, but the air here is drier and the dust coarser and paler than on the coast. Sand trickles in under doors and settles on every surface overnight, and marble and ceramic floors get scratched by grit if swept rather than vacuumed first. Curtains are modern and factory-treated, but the dry, coarse dust demands regular attention.
Curtains here trap dry, coarse sand instead of black road dust, building up faster but lighter in weight and colour. For the method itself, see the full curtain cleaning page.
The district sits on elevated, dry ground near ring roads, so coarse sand from open areas enters easily under doors and windows. This sand is heavier than fine coastal sand, settles quickly in curtain folds and stays put, not lifting back up on air currents the way fine dust does.
Dry air stops mildew forming but makes fabrics dry out fast and shrink slightly. Heat and aridity cause microscopic cracking in delicate fibres, especially if the curtain faces direct sun through wide windows most of the day.
Al Bashaer is still developing, and vacant plots and building sites lift heavier sand and dust than established neighbourhoods do. This thick, coarse dust settles fast onto curtains and will not come off with a simple shake.
The district lies in north Jeddah on the Asfan Ring Road, with Al Furusiyah Road on its east, Taybah to the west, Al Falah to the south and Al Rahmaniyah to the south east. Land in some areas is still being released and built, and the air is dry with coarser dust than coastal neighbourhoods.
Modern fabrics may carry factory treatments, and strong chemicals can strip them. We test first and use balanced solutions.
Careful removal matters because new hardware may be sensitive, and gaps around frames can trap sand.
Strong dry vacuum and shake-out remove coarse sand easily before any water, and full washing may not be necessary.
Light dust marks need gentle treatment, and sand rarely leaves permanent stains.
Cleaning method focuses on sand and coarse dust, so vacuum and shake-out matter more than water washing sometimes.
Drying is very fast because air is so dry, but we avoid over-drying that could crack the delicate weave.
Cotton, linen, velvet, blackout weave and synthetic sheers do not take the same heat or the same solution.
Before any water.
A water spot at the hem is not treated like a greasy film near a kitchen.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres across the full panel, both faces and top to hem, with the method that suits the fabric, while the curtains stay on the rail so the drape is not disturbed.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the panels with you before the team leaves.
On the Asfan Ring Road close to Al Bashair Mosque and Al Fursan Mosque, you reach Al Bashaer which is bounded by Al Furusiyah Road on the east, Taybah to the west and Al Falah to the south. The district is new and developing, and open ground around it kicks up coarse sand and dust constantly.
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.
We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and extraction machines come with the team.
If a panel needs a tailor rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Al Bashaer too, and more than one can share a single visit.
