We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Bayan is a small residential district within the Taibah sub-municipality area of east Jeddah toward Asfan. It sits with clusters of similar small quarters, all with simple residential character. The area is close to University of Jeddah Road and Wadi Al Ghawla. Curtains here are typically basic textiles that have rarely seen professional cleaning before, hung on simple rods in older homes.
Residents here often clean their own curtains using basic home methods, or leave them untouched for long periods without professional attention. For the method itself, see how we approach curtain cleaning.
The small quarters of Al Bayan contain older homes with very basic curtain fixing systems. Rods may be rusted and brackets weak. Curtains themselves are often simple cotton or cotton blend that cannot tolerate rough handling or high heat.
Proximity to Wadi Al Ghawla means exposure to desert dust higher than in coastal areas. Dry air and winds carry gritty sand particles. Curtains absorb coarse grit and sediment rather than fine urban dust, requiring different vacuum force.
The quarter has no high maintenance standards and residents often postpone cleaning. Curtains may hang for years without professional attention. Accumulated soil requires careful approach with simple fabrics that have no reinforcement.
The district is part of a cluster of small neighbouring quarters with basic residential character, located near the University of Jeddah road and Wadi Al Ghawla. The environment is less crowded than the northern and western centres of Jeddah.
Curtains in Al Bayan are mostly simple cotton or aged blends; lightweight or specialist fabrics are rare, making the assessment more uniform than in wealthier districts.
Removal from simple rods is usually straightforward but rust may impede movement. Weak brackets need careful handling to avoid bending or collapse.
Dry vacuum here is critical because gritty, granular dust must be removed mechanically before water touches it, or it will cake the fibres.
Stains are usually simple: dust, window condensation, old marks. Moderate cleaning often suffices without aggressive chemical intervention.
Simple fabrics need lower temperatures than heavy weaves, and shrinking is a real risk with basic cotton dyes and fibres.
Rehang includes careful straightening and re-hanging on rods, with verification that brackets are stable and not over-stressed.
Cotton, linen, velvet, blackout weave and synthetic sheers do not take the same heat or the same solution.
Before any water.
A water spot at the hem is not treated like a greasy film near a kitchen.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres across the full panel, both faces and top to hem, with the method that suits the fabric, while the curtains stay on the rail so the drape is not disturbed.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the panels with you before the team leaves.

We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and extraction machines come with the team.
If a panel needs a tailor rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
Mixed district: shops at street level with homes above them
The mixed district here means there are some shops below homes, but at a much smaller scale than Al Rawdah or Al Firdous. The impact is present but limited. Cleaning must account for ground-floor commercial activity even if it is not intense.
We provide these in Al Bayan too, and more than one can share a single visit.
