The right gear for drinking water
Pumps to clear sludge, scrubbing to remove biofilm, and disinfectant meant for potable storage.

Al Salihiyah is a new district in east Jeddah, east of Al Hamdaniyah and south of Al Falah and Al Rahmaniyah, reached by Al Furusiyah Street, with recent villas and apartments and vacant plots still between the buildings. Tanks here sit in new homes but eastern ground is dry and its dust is coarser and paler, and water from a distant station arrives loaded with particles that settle on the tank floor.
Tanks in this new eastern neighbourhood fill from a water treatment plant at distance, and the dry ground allows dust to easily breach weak inlet filters. For the method itself, see the full water tank cleaning page.
A new villa may have its tank underground or on the roof, and an apartment may be very tightly enclosed. We inspect the layout before bringing heavy equipment.
East Jeddah dust is coarser and paler in colour. A weak filter may not trap it completely, so mineral and stone particles enter the tank.
Al Furusiyah Street and nearby Al Rahmaniyah Road mean homes are straightforward to reach and house numbers are clearly marked.

Tank inspection in a new district: if underground we check from above for any signs of damp or leaks, and if enclosed we measure the space before bringing equipment.
Water from the distant plant carries mineral and stone particles; we drain it fully and wait for complete clarity.
Sediment may be paler in colour than coastal deposits but is solid and needs hard pumping several times over.
New tank walls are smooth, so scrubbing is lighter but we include corners and the inlet with careful attention.
Disinfection in a new eastern area we recommend for at least an hour to kill any bacteria from dust contamination.
The new lid is usually well sealed; we inspect all four sides and confirm no gaps remain.
The supply into the tank is shut and the tank is drained completely.
The sludge on the floor is scooped and pumped out first.
The biofilm on the walls is physically scrubbed off.
With the walls and floor clean, a disinfectant made for drinking-water storage is applied and given time to act on every surface.
The disinfectant and any loosened residue are rinsed down and pumped out, so the first tank of water after us is not carrying it.
We check the cover seal and inlet before refilling, so dust and insects stay out, then start the refill while you watch it run clear.
New development: ongoing construction and vacant plots between the homes
New development means new tanks under pressure from coarse eastern dust, and they may be underground or squeezed between tight walls. We focus on measuring spaces carefully, handling equipment in confined areas, and ensuring the inlet filter is solid to keep dust out.

We send a team, not one person, so a tank is drained, cleaned, disinfected and refilled in a single visit rather than left open for days.
We look at the lid seal and inlet, because a tank that got dirty fast usually has a way in.
Nothing is closed until the tank is refilling and you have seen the water run clean.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until the tank is disinfected, refilling, and you have seen it for yourself.
Al Salihiyah lies close to Abdulrahman bin Awf Mosque and Abu Bakr Al Siddiq Mosque, so homes are easily located by these landmarks. We reach properties via Al Furusiyah Street from the east or from the neighbouring Al Rahmaniyah and Al Hamdaniyah streets.
We provide these in Al Salihiyah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
