The right gear for drinking water
Pumps to clear sludge, scrubbing to remove biofilm, and disinfectant meant for potable storage.

Al Asalah is a newly established northern district close to King Abdullah Sports City, with new villas and apartment blocks rising in a planned development. Some streets are not yet paved and the drainage network is incomplete. Tanks here are new but the pipes may contain construction dust and sand from the new subdivisions. A team here must understand the problems of ongoing construction and incomplete infrastructure.
Storage tanks in newly developing areas contain construction dust and gravel from new pipes that are not yet fully completed and flushed, requiring careful inspection of all pipework before cleaning begins. For the method itself, see the full water tank cleaning page.
Al Asalah is a new district with ongoing building work, and newly laid pipes may hold iron dust and gravel from excavation and construction. This dust enters the tank and leaves a light grey sediment on the floor. Cleaning must start by inspecting all pipes to ensure no new construction dust is still entering from the development work ongoing nearby.
The district is new and infrastructure is still under construction, and the drainage network may not yet be complete. Full tank drainage requires safe disposal, and we may need to coordinate with you on how to safely run off the water. In some cases we may use a portable collection tank to contain the discharge.
Al Asalah is a newly planned development and some villas and apartments have not yet been taken over from the builder. New tanks may hold stagnant water from the first fill during system testing and commissioning, and may have sediment from the fresh pipework. The first cleaning of a new tank must be thorough.
Al Asalah sits in north Jeddah between Madinah Road and the Haramain expressway, close to King Abdullah Sports City. Construction is ongoing and the development is not complete. Streets are under development and pipework is still being finalised, all of which affects the quality of water entering the tank.
In a newly developing district, the tank may hold light construction dust on the walls, so we inspect closely and trace the sediment back to its source before we start work.
Draining the tank may be difficult because full infrastructure is not complete, so we coordinate with you on a safe discharge method before we arrive.
Sediment removal focuses on the inlet pipes and floor, because sand may come from the new pipes that have not yet been factory flushed.
Scrubbing the walls is easier here because the tank is new and sediment is light, but we still work thoroughly throughout.
Disinfection of a new tank is essential because test water from construction may carry bacteria, so we use certified disinfectant approved for drinking water.
The final rinse takes time because we must ensure no construction dust remains before we hand over the tank ready for occupation and use.
The supply into the tank is shut and the tank is drained completely.
The sludge on the floor is scooped and pumped out first.
The biofilm on the walls is physically scrubbed off.
With the walls and floor clean, a disinfectant made for drinking-water storage is applied and given time to act on every surface.
The disinfectant and any loosened residue are rinsed down and pumped out, so the first tank of water after us is not carrying it.
We check the cover seal and inlet before refilling, so dust and insects stay out, then start the refill while you watch it run clear.

We send a team, not one person, so a tank is drained, cleaned, disinfected and refilled in a single visit rather than left open for days.
We look at the lid seal and inlet, because a tank that got dirty fast usually has a way in.
Nothing is closed until the tank is refilling and you have seen the water run clean.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until the tank is disinfected, refilling, and you have seen it for yourself.
Prince Talal bin Mansour Road and Al Suyuti Mosque mark the location clearly in the emerging district, and when we schedule your appointment we use these landmarks to direct our team quickly to the address in the new development.
We provide these in Al Asalah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
