We treat the incense, not mask it
Bakhoor residue is cleaned out of the seating and curtains and off the walls, so fresh oud is not sitting on months of old smoke.

Al Asalah is a newly established district in far north Jeddah near King Abdullah Sports City, with building work ongoing and streets not yet paved, and drainage networks still being laid. Building dust and earth from the construction sites enter the majlis easily, and floors, walls and furniture need deeper cleaning than in older districts because fine dust seeps in from everywhere.
Building dust and earth from construction sites and unpaved roads slip under doors and windows quickly, and furniture needs cleaning more frequently. For the method itself, see the full majlis and diwaniya cleaning page.
In Al Asalah the plans are new and building is ongoing, unpaved streets produce fine construction dust. This dust breaches flats easily through the windows and doors of new schemes, and settles on every surface fast, so the majlis looks dirty again even if cleaned yesterday. Cleaning needs regular repetition.
New ceramic and marble floors in the villas and new apartment blocks retain building traces and chalk from paint markings. These marks stick fast and need specialist wiping before polishing, ordinary cleaning leaves them stuck on.
Drainage and pipe networks are still being finished, leaving gaps through which dust and earth enter. Gaps below windows and doors let more dust in than established schemes. We need deeper cleaning in corners and openings.
The district is newly developed with building work around the homes, unpaved streets releasing construction dust, which enters residences easily.
Ceilings and high corners collect construction dust very fast, we clean them weekly or every two weeks so dust does not fall onto clean furniture.
New fabrics and sofas are sensitive to fine dust, we use very soft vacuuming and ventilation instead of hard washing.
Glass and mirrors need weekly wiping with dry cloth so no dust residue forms on the surface.
New ceramic and marble floors hold building marks, we wipe them with specialist solution before polishing.
The guest bathroom in new villas and blocks is clean but needs good ventilation so moisture does not build up.
Ventilation after cleaning is essential in new districts, all windows open for at least an hour so old dust leaves completely.
Seating, carpet, curtains and surfaces, before anything starts, so we agree the scope and what the price covers.
Majlis seating and curtains vary from cotton to velvet and heavy weaves, and they do not take the same heat or product.
Before any water, on the seating and the carpet both.
Gahwa, cardamom and food are not one problem.
We choose the method after seeing each piece, loosen what has bound into the seating and carpet, and extraction pulls it straight back out with the water, in one pass, so nothing is left soaking in the foam.
We go back through the room with you.

We test the fabric on a hidden spot before we clean it.
The company runs several teams, and we send a team rather than one person.
If the seating needs reupholstering rather than cleaning, we say so.

The commitment is small enough to actually keep: we do not leave until you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
In Al Asalah close to King Abdullah Sports City and between Prince Talal bin Mansour Road and Al Mutasim Billah Street, new schemes and ongoing building means dust enters from every direction. The majlis needs regular cleaning because building sites all around blow dust daily.
We provide these in Al Asalah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
