We test before we treat
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.

Al Sahel is a coastal area on Al Saif Corniche in south Jeddah, with high humidity and salty air all year round. Pools here face different challenges: salt enters the water from the air, mould grows fast in bathrooms, and equipment rusts quickly. The water itself is heavier and more mineral-rich than in districts away from the sea.
Humidity here is very high year round, salt enters the water from air and wind, equipment rusts fast, and even wood and metal near the pool need frequent maintenance. For the method itself, see our guide to swimming pool cleaning.
In Al Sahel, salt is not just what you add to the pool, it enters from the air and salty winds year round. Salt concentration in the pool rises naturally from constant exposure to salty air. Water becomes heavy and highly mineral-laden, and chemical balance needs constant monitoring.
Coastal humidity increases the speed of algae growth on walls and floor, and mould grows fast in bathrooms and stored textiles. Musty smells and mould spots appear quickly, and walls need brushing much more often than in dry districts.
Pool pumps, metal stairs and iron fittings around the pool rust very quickly from salt and moisture. Rust affects equipment efficiency and appearance, needs frequent maintenance and may require earlier replacement than in inland areas.
A coastal area on Al Saif Corniche near Jeddah Islamic Port, with villas, flats and shops. The air is humid and salty year round, and humidity levels stay high.
Water in Al Sahel is salty and heavy from salty air, so testing first measures salt and mineral concentration with precision.
Walls need frequent brushing from algae and mould that grow fast in high humidity.
The floor collects salt deposits and mould growth, and vacuuming needs stronger standards and close attention to damp areas.
The skimmer fills fast with salt and salty residue, so we clean it carefully and check water draw is correct.
The filter needs frequent backwash from salt deposits and minerals, possibly twice weekly at minimum.
After treatment, we test salt concentration, minerals and mould levels, and confirm the water is balanced and safe before use.
pH, sanitiser and hardness are read at the start.
Floating leaves and debris come off before we brush.
Algae and the oily waterline film cling to the surfaces.
Silt settles in the deep end and the corners the return jets never reach.
The skimmer and pump baskets are cleared and the filter checked or backwashed.
With the water clean, we balance and dose, then walk the pool with you before leaving.
Coastal area: high humidity and salt air through the year
In a coastal area like Al Sahel, pools face high humidity and salt from air and wind all year round. This means water is heavier and more mineral-rich, algae and mould grow fast, and equipment rusts quickly.
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.
The company runs a large crew, and we send a team rather than one person.
Pumps, vacuum heads and the test kit come with the team.
If the pump or the plumbing is the real problem, we tell you.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we don't leave until you've seen the result and had your say on it.
South Jeddah runs from the port and the industrial city down towards Al Khumrah, and homes here sit between the sea and the heavy goods roads. The dust is darker and oilier than in the north, a mix of diesel soot and workshop grit, and it clings to net curtains, window sills and the tops of kitchen cupboards. Floors in the older low rise housing are often plain cement or ceramic tile that darkens where soot is walked in. Humidity from the coast adds mildew in bathrooms and a musty smell in stored fabrics.
We provide these in Al Sahel too, and more than one can share a single visit.
