We test before we treat
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.

Al Falah is a new district in east Jeddah beside King Abdullah Sports City, where villas and apartment blocks share modern streets with neighbourhood shops. Most pools here are recently built, but the eastern location puts them far from the sea, so the air is much drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. Coarse sand and gravel blow in under doors quickly, and the arid climate leaves mineral deposits settling in the pool floor.
Pools here collect coarse east-facing dust and gravel faster than coastal neighbourhood pools. Homeowners are new to the area and do not yet realise that the dry air requires different pool maintenance than the humid coast. For the method itself, see our swimming pool cleaning service in detail.
East Jeddah lies far from the sea and close to bare ground and hills. The dust here is coarser and paler than the fine coastal particles, and it is heavier. It blows in under doors during strong winds and is walked into the pool on sandals, settling to the floor rapidly. Vacuuming is more frequent and more demanding than in seaside neighbourhoods.
South Jeddah is humid, but east Jeddah is intensely dry. Roof tank water leaves white or grey mineral particles settling on the pool floor. Calcium and magnesium precipitate without the sea humidity to dissolve them. The water remains clear but the sediment is visible and heavy.
Al Falah sits on major thoroughfares with heavy traffic. Coarse sand and gravel from vehicle wheels are airborne. An open pool catches more coarse material than fine dust. Filters, baskets and skimmers fill with gravel that must be cleared before it scratches internal pipes.
A new district in east Jeddah, bounded by Al Bashair to the north and Al Hamdaniyah and Al Salihiyah to the south, near King Abdullah Sports City, a mix of new villas, apartment blocks and the Al Falah Park serving the area.
Water in east Jeddah's Al Falah is dry and laden with mineral deposits from roof tanks, so we test alkalinity and calcium first before any rebalancing.
Walls and waterline carry white salt and mineral scale, so brushing is vigorous and may require specialist chemical treatment to lift heavy deposits.
The floor collects coarse gravel from roads and heavy mineral particles from roof tank sediment, so vacuuming is deep and careful.
Skimmer and basket hold far more gravel and mineral particles than coastal areas, so cleaning is precise and thorough.
The filter medium is laden with mineral grit and coarse sand, so backwashing is vigorous and requires clean water rinsing after.
The final chemical reset focuses on reducing elevated alkalinity and excess calcium from the arid climate and mineral laden source water.
pH, sanitiser and hardness are read at the start.
Floating leaves and debris come off before we brush.
Algae and the oily waterline film cling to the surfaces.
Silt settles in the deep end and the corners the return jets never reach.
The skimmer and pump baskets are cleared and the filter checked or backwashed.
With the water clean, we balance and dose, then walk the pool with you before leaving.
Al Falah is located beside King Abdullah Sports City and Al Falah Park, two major landmarks that guide us to every property in the district. Most villas here are addressed near the sports city or park, so we locate the site quickly once we know which of these reference points marks the boundary.

The company runs a large crew, and we send a team rather than one person.
Pumps, vacuum heads and the test kit come with the team.
If the pump or the plumbing is the real problem, we tell you.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we don't leave until you've seen the result and had your say on it.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Al Falah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
