We test before we treat
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.

Al Salihiyah is a new district in north Jeddah east of Al Hamdaniyah and south of Al Falah, subdivided into new villas and apartments with vacant plots still lying between buildings. Most pools here sit in brand new homes, but the district is actively developing and construction is ongoing around almost every villa. Courtyard and garden land often remains bare and unlandscaped. Heavy construction dust and exposed ground fill the water with sediment quickly, and the chemistry drifts before new owners realise what has changed.
Almost every pool here sits in a brand new villa, but the developing district around them is under constant construction. Building dust and exposed ground fill the water with deposits very quickly. For the method itself, see the full swimming pool cleaning page.
Al Salihiyah is brand new and building never stops: villas beside villas and land under development on every side. Cement dust and excavation debris blow directly from neighbouring sites into pools. The filter and vacuum carry a heavy load from this dust.
Most new homeowners have not yet designed or completed their garden or courtyard, so the ground sits bare sand. Wind carries fine sand into the pool continuously, and sediment settles to the floor quickly before filtration can clear it.
Most villas were built in the past year and pools are extremely recent installations. This first full summer may be a shock: extreme heat and first time use expose problems quickly. Filters may struggle and chemistry swings wildly.
A new district in north Jeddah east of Al Hamdaniyah and south of Al Falah and Al Rahmaniyah, reached by Al Furusiyah Street, laid out as subdivisions of new villas and apartments with vacant plots between the buildings.
Water in Al Salihiyah carries heavy construction dust and sand from exposed land, so we test suspended particles and alkalinity first.
Walls and waterline trap construction dust and fine sand heavily, so brushing is vigorous and may be repeated during the visit.
The floor collects sand and dust very quickly because the district is developing and ground is exposed, so vacuuming is frequent and thorough.
Skimmer and basket catch far more construction dust and sand than established areas, needing deep regular cleaning.
The brand new filter medium collects fine construction particles deep inside, so backwashing is very vigorous and clean water rinsing follows.
The final chemical reset focuses on removing dissolved dust particles and reducing alkalinity from sand and soil.
pH, sanitiser and hardness are read at the start.
Floating leaves and debris come off before we brush.
Algae and the oily waterline film cling to the surfaces.
Silt settles in the deep end and the corners the return jets never reach.
The skimmer and pump baskets are cleared and the filter checked or backwashed.
With the water clean, we balance and dose, then walk the pool with you before leaving.
New development: ongoing construction and vacant plots between the homes
A newly developed district means continuous construction and bare exposed land with no planting yet. Cement dust and excavation debris blow from neighbouring building sites, and sand infiltrates from unlandscaped courtyard ground. This makes the pool dirty much faster than in fully completed and planted neighbourhoods.
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.
The company runs a large crew, and we send a team rather than one person.
Pumps, vacuum heads and the test kit come with the team.
If the pump or the plumbing is the real problem, we tell you.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we don't leave until you've seen the result and had your say on it.
Al Salihiyah is accessed via Al Furusiyah Street, the main thoroughfare through the district. Near the street stand Abdulrahman bin Awf Mosque and Abu Bakr Al Siddiq Mosque, two landmarks that help us locate villas quickly.
We provide these in Al Salihiyah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
