We test before we degrease
Testing the solution on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Shuwaidi is a new district in north Jeddah within the Obhur Al Shamaliyah subdivisions, modern villas and apartments on newly released land with ongoing construction around the neighbourhood. Northern coastal air carries a fine salt film, and wide windows and open courtyards collect fine sand with every breeze. Surfaces are new, glossy and delicate, and cleaning requires more care than older established areas.
Fine sand and sea salt settle on glossy new cabinet fronts before they can be wiped, leaving white rings that plain water cannot dissolve. For the method itself, see our guide to kitchen cleaning.
Al Shuwaidi is newly developed and construction is ongoing in parts of the neighbourhood, with land around homes not yet settled. Construction dust, sand and cement enter homes together. New glossy cabinets and surfaces soil quickly from building dust. Cleaning must work around current construction and focus on the kitchen as it exists now.
The district is near the shore and winds carry faint salt. New glossy surfaces collect salt quickly and it dries as white rings. Plain water does not dissolve it, so special treatment is needed. Grease and salt on the same surface means two different cleaning products in exact order.
Most cabinets and kitchens in Al Shuwaidi are glossy and brand new. Marble and porcelain are costlier than older stock, thinner, and in pale colours. A strong product may leave a permanent mark or change the colour. Testing on a very inconspicuous area is essential and a very gentle product may be needed.
A modern urban extension in north Jeddah near the coast on newly released land with construction still in progress. Most homes are between one and three years old, with large windows and spacious gardens.
Glossy new cabinet fronts collect salt and dust before cooking grease builds up, so the product focuses on salt removal and the thin grease layer. Salt treatment may need to come first.
The hood is new and powerful, but sea salt settles on the filter alongside grease, so removing salt first is easier than removing both together.
The hob is new and glossy and not yet blackened. It may carry construction dust or residue needing very gentle cleaning.
Tiles behind the hob are glossy and new, and salt rings appear on them quickly if not wiped daily. Cleaning focuses on salt removal before grease.
Sink and tap are new shiny metals, more affected by sea salt than by grease, so treatment focuses on salt removal then polishing the metal back to lustre.
New glossy porcelain floors are scratched by grit if swept after mopping, so deep sweeping must come first.
Painted cabinets, laminate, natural stone and stainless steel do not take the same degreaser.
We start high, the tops of cabinets and the hood, and work down to the floor.
The degreaser is put on the heavy areas and given time to break the oil down before it is wiped.
The metal filter carries the worst of the grease and is soaked and worked on its own, not just wiped in place, because a clogged filter puts the oil straight back into the air.
The burners, the tiled splash and the grout lines take focused work, since the grout darkens first and a flat wipe passes over it.
We go over the kitchen with you before the team leaves.
New development: ongoing construction and vacant plots between the homes
A new development means your kitchen surfaces are glossy, modern and very delicate. A strong product may leave a permanent mark. Ongoing construction around your home brings extra dust. Sea salt settles fast near the shore.
Testing the solution on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.
We send a team, not a single worker.
The degreasers and tools come with the team.
If what the kitchen needs is a repair or pest treatment rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
Al Shuwaidi is served by the Jeddah Madinah Road and King Abdulaziz Road. Abhor Park is nearby and location is easily found from the main roads bordering the new district.
We provide these in Al Shuwaidi too, and more than one can share a single visit.
