We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Kinanah is a small residential district in east Jeddah within the hills and valleys belt, close to Mareekh Mountains and Wadi Al Qaws. The air is dry from distance to the sea, and mountain dust is sharp and coarse. The district is moderately old with simple homes and shops at street level. Curtains gather coarse dust and wadi moisture together.
Curtains here feel heavy with a mixture of sharp dust and moisture from the wadis. The district is small so windows facing the valley collect more dampness than those facing the hills. For the method itself, see our guide to curtain cleaning.
Mareekh Mountains and surrounding hills lift very coarse desert dust. This dust is heavier than city dust and grips tight. Vacuuming and washing need force and attention, but with care because fabrics may be old.
Wadis carry moisture in seasons and winter. Homes near the flow absorbed years of dampness. This deposits minerals on curtains. We treat these with specialist solutions but very old stains may be permanent.
The district is mixed so flats sit above shops. Shops open to the street so dust and commerce lift metal particles and grit. Upper flats collect this dust.
The district is small and moderately old, in a hilly and rugged area. Valleys and hills surround it. The air is dry but wadis may carry moisture in seasons.
Fabrics in Kinanah may be old and weak from dust and moisture. We test a sample first and use cool water and gentle detergent only. Aged cotton is very sensitive.
Removing curtains from rails may be risky because rails may be corroded. We inspect and clean rings and metal during removal. Rehang goes on clean metal only.
Dry vacuuming may need force to lift coarse mountain dust. Moderate to strong vacuum power is safe if fabric is sound. Gentle soaking helps with very coarse dust.
Wadi stains and mineral marks are treated with specialist solution. Very old stains may be permanent. We tell you upfront what to expect.
Weakened fabrics from dust and moisture wash in cool water only. Soaking is careful. Rinsing removes fine dust and particles.
Air drying in shade protects weak old fabrics. Rehang may need two people if curtains are heavy. Creases ease with moving air.
Cotton, linen, velvet, blackout weave and synthetic sheers do not take the same heat or the same solution.
Before any water.
A water spot at the hem is not treated like a greasy film near a kitchen.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres across the full panel, both faces and top to hem, with the method that suits the fabric, while the curtains stay on the rail so the drape is not disturbed.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the panels with you before the team leaves.

We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and extraction machines come with the team.
If a panel needs a tailor rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
Kinanah lies close to Mareekh Mountains and near Wadi Al Qaws, both of which shape the air quality and moisture here. Access to the district passes near these landmarks, and our work accounts for how the wadis and hills affect the curtains.
We provide these in Kinanah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
