We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Zahra is a mixed district combining modern villas and spacious apartments above commercial shops in a location close to the Gulf, so curtain cleaning here faces three combined challenges: salt from the sea air, constant moisture, and traffic dust from the main road. Each curtain must be inspected individually.
Proximity to water means salt settles even on new curtains, and sea spray travels on windy days, so fabrics need careful inspection for fine salt corrosion that is easy to miss until the cloth is handled. For the method itself, see the full curtain cleaning page.
Salt crystals form on fabric from sea air and high humidity, invisible at first but rough to the touch. Cleaning requires balanced washing that dissolves salt without aggressive drying that leaves crystalline residue on fibres and edges.
The main road nearby deposits exhaust and road particles daily, which are coarser than domestic dust. Curtains facing this road need stronger dry vacuum before any washing, and may require spot treatment for dark streaks and oil deposits.
Sea air stays humid constantly, especially morning and evening, so cleaned curtains dry slowly. We manage drying carefully to prevent moisture trapping in the weave, which could leave faint mould marks or musty smells on delicate fabric.
A north western district between King Abdulaziz Road and Hira Street featuring modern villas and apartments alongside hospitals and commercial centres, positioned close to the waterfront and corniche.
Curtains in Al Zahra face sea salt and high moisture together, so we inspect each fabric for fine salt traces and moisture damage before deciding on the cleaning approach.
Removal is straightforward on most modern villas, but apartments above shops need extra planning because shops stay open and stairwells are narrow, so we schedule work at quieter times.
Dry vacuum is stronger than standard to lift coarse road dust and salt crystals before any water touches the fabric, protecting delicate weaves from salt saturation.
Stains here may be crystallised salt or dust mixed with moisture, so we treat salt with gentle water rinsing and dust with spot treatment based on fibre strength.
Cleaning method depends on fabric type and salt damage level, so silk and light naturals may get very gentle washing while cotton and blends get balanced treatment.
Drying is carefully controlled because high ambient moisture slows evaporation, so we ensure good air circulation and may add extra fans on very humid days.
Cotton, linen, velvet, blackout weave and synthetic sheers do not take the same heat or the same solution.
Before any water.
A water spot at the hem is not treated like a greasy film near a kitchen.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres across the full panel, both faces and top to hem, with the method that suits the fabric, while the curtains stay on the rail so the drape is not disturbed.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the panels with you before the team leaves.
Mixed district: shops at street level with homes above them
Al Zahra's mixed character means a luxury villa's modern curtains stand next to an apartment above a busy shop, and both suffer salt and humidity but at different rates. This variety in building age and commercial activity complicates each job differently.
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.
We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and extraction machines come with the team.
If a panel needs a tailor rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
Al Zahra stretches between King Abdulaziz Road on one side and Hira Street on the other, and these two roads guide us through the layout. We use them to navigate and confirm addresses across a dispersed mixed district like this.
We provide these in Al Zahra too, and more than one can share a single visit.
