We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Nahdah is mixed-use on Hira Street between the sea and the main road, and salt air reaches directly from the Red Sea while cooking grease rises from shops and restaurants below. Curtains face a double problem: salt from the east, restaurant fumes from below, and coastal humidity all year round. This combination blackens curtains fast and leaves a complex odour of salt and oil mixed together.
Salt from the sea reaches curtains directly while cooking grease rises from restaurants below, creating a thick combined layer of salt and oil on the fabric. For the method itself, see what curtain cleaning involves.
Al Nahdah is unique: sea salt air comes directly from the water and restaurant oils rise together. Salt carries grease deep into the fibres and the two are hard to remove together. Simple rinsing fails because salt traps the oil inside the weave.
High humidity from the sea means curtains dry slowly and salt and oil stay damp in the fibres. This traps powerful mixed odours and risks mildew if curtains do not dry swiftly enough.
Seaside villas suffer heavy salt, whilst flats above shops suffer both oil and salt together. Cleaning depth varies by window location: whether it faces the sea or the commercial street.
A mixed district on Hira Street between the sea and main arterial road with heavy commercial activity, apartment blocks above ground floor shops and restaurants, close to the Jeddah Corniche and open sea.
Fabrics in Al Nahdah mix: sheer in modern villas and heavy in apartments, all suffering salt. Fabric inspection determines handling approach.
Removal from metal rails weakened by salt requires care, as rails may be fragile. Each panel is folded gently with awareness that brittleness is likely.
Dry vacuum is vigorous to dislodge surface salt and grease, then suction is gentle. Salt falls like sand and grease leaves an oily trace.
Oil first with strong degreasing product and warm water, then salt with extended soaking and repeated rinsing in fresh water. Twin treatment is essential here.
Cleaning is done by spray, soak with degreasing product, then fresh water rinsing cycles. Some fabrics need extra immersion for salt removal.
Drying is swift using fans, air conditioning and directed air flow. Curtains are rehanged immediately to prevent mildew smell from damp salt residue.
Cotton, linen, velvet, blackout weave and synthetic sheers do not take the same heat or the same solution.
Before any water.
A water spot at the hem is not treated like a greasy film near a kitchen.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres across the full panel, both faces and top to hem, with the method that suits the fabric, while the curtains stay on the rail so the drape is not disturbed.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the panels with you before the team leaves.
Al Nahdah is defined by Hira Street running through it from north to south and King Abdulaziz Road forming its inland boundary, and by Hira Plaza which identifies the district locally, and work is coordinated using main street reference points since villas and flats scatter across both sides.
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.
We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and extraction machines come with the team.
If a panel needs a tailor rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
West Jeddah faces the sea along the Corniche, and the flats and towers along it live with salt in the air all year. Salt settles on glass as a haze that plain water spreads rather than removes, and it works into balcony railings, outdoor fabric and the metal of window frames. Indoors, humidity keeps carpets and curtains slightly damp, so they hold odours and dust longer than in drier districts, and bathroom grout and shower glass show scale quickly. Wooden floors and doors swell a little in the wetter months.
We provide these in Al Nahdah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
