We test before we clean
Testing the material on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Mursalat is a densely packed apartment district in far southeastern Jeddah, with tightly built blocks and fitted carpet lining shared hallways and stairs, cut through by the Jeddah Makkah Expressway. Carpet here carries black oily dust from heavy traffic exhaust, and coastal humidity traps odours and breeds mildew in the fitted carpet.
Dense apartment blocks and shared fitted carpet carry the footprints of all residents and visitors, and the expressway running beside the district releases continuous dust and diesel soot onto building facades. For the method itself, see how we approach carpet and rug cleaning.
Shared hallways and stairs carry every resident and visitor's footsteps in packed buildings, and dust and fats accumulate much faster than in private flat carpet.
The Jeddah Makkah Expressway runs directly past the quarter, releasing diesel soot and oily dust at high concentration onto every building wall and window facing the road.
Location at the far south edge near the sea means very high humidity, and shared fitted carpet that gets damp easily produces mildew and musty odours if not dried quickly.
A residential district in the far southeastern corner of Jeddah near the Bahrah governorate boundary, with tightly packed apartment blocks offered widely for rent and sale. The Jeddah Makkah Expressway passes directly through, and Al Huthaifat quarter and its cemetery lie close by.
Fitted carpet may be various blends, so we sort each section and assess its condition before washing.
Deep vacuuming focuses on removing dust and soil from shared passages before water extraction.
Stains on common fitted carpet are mixed: coffee, oil, blood, each needing individual treatment.
Washing method is set by fibre type and high building humidity.
Fitted carpet is washed carefully because concrete beneath may be damp.
Fast and thorough drying is critical to prevent mildew forming in high humidity.
Wool, synthetic and silk-blends do not take the same heat or the same material.
Before any water.
An oil stain is not treated like a juice stain.
Hot water loosens what is bound in the pile and the extractor pulls it straight back out with the water, together, so nothing is left sitting in the base.
The borders and fringe are done by hand, where machines skip and where wear shows first, so the whole rug looks even.
The carpet is left slightly damp, not wet.

The company runs a large workforce, and we send a team rather than one worker.
The deep vacuum and extraction machines are ours and arrive with the team.
If a rug needs repair or re-fringing rather than cleaning, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think.
South Jeddah runs from the port and the industrial city down towards Al Khumrah, and homes here sit between the sea and the heavy goods roads. The dust is darker and oilier than in the north, a mix of diesel soot and workshop grit, and it clings to net curtains, window sills and the tops of kitchen cupboards. Floors in the older low rise housing are often plain cement or ceramic tile that darkens where soot is walked in. Humidity from the coast adds mildew in bathrooms and a musty smell in stored fabrics.
We provide these in Al Mursalat too, and more than one can share a single visit.
