We test before we clean
Testing the material on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Atheer sits on the south-eastern edge of Jeddah on the Jeddah Makkah Expressway. Carpet here traps highway pollution and sea dust together: heavy truck traffic passes constantly by homes, and coastal humidity rises from nearby. The district is less dense than central Jeddah, a mix of newer homes and vacant plots, and carpet carries a composite load of mixed pollutants.
Highway dust and coastal pollutants settle together into carpet here, and high humidity from the sea slows drying significantly. For the method itself, see our carpet and rug cleaning service in detail.
The Jeddah Makkah Expressway runs right past Al Atheer, and constant heavy truck traffic sends oily black dust in all directions. Carpet and curtains near the road trap this mixture of grit, soot and engine oil.
Al Atheer is close to the sea and shore, and high humidity and airborne salt attack fabrics harshly. Light colours in carpet fade quickly under salt and moisture stress, and curtains develop a musty smell.
Al Atheer is not packed apartment towers like central Jeddah; it is spaced homes and open land. This means air flows more freely but outside pollutants enter homes more readily too.
Al Atheer is a locality on the south-eastern edge of Jeddah along the Jeddah Makkah Expressway, administered with Bahrah for local services, with lighter development than central Jeddah and a mix of newer housing and open plots.
Al Atheer has a mix of new and old carpet: new homes have modern pile, old houses have older, tired carpet.
Dry vacuuming must be powerful because expressway and salt dust settle deep.
Oil stains and salt from the sea need specialist chemical pre-treatment before washing.
Warm water and powerful extraction are safe on most carpet here because it is either new or accustomed to washing.
Fitted carpet must dry completely because coastal humidity will try to return moisture to the pile.
Final drying takes extra time and may need powerful equipment and fans.
Wool, synthetic and silk-blends do not take the same heat or the same material.
Before any water.
An oil stain is not treated like a juice stain.
Hot water loosens what is bound in the pile and the extractor pulls it straight back out with the water, together, so nothing is left sitting in the base.
The borders and fringe are done by hand, where machines skip and where wear shows first, so the whole rug looks even.
The carpet is left slightly damp, not wet.
Mixed district: shops at street level with homes above them
A mixed district on the city edge often houses small business owners or residents working on nearby roads. Carpet carries workplace and outside pollution more than purely residential quarters.
Testing the material on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.
The company runs a large workforce, and we send a team rather than one worker.
The deep vacuum and extraction machines are ours and arrive with the team.
If a rug needs repair or re-fringing rather than cleaning, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think.
South Jeddah runs from the port and the industrial city down towards Al Khumrah, and homes here sit between the sea and the heavy goods roads. The dust is darker and oilier than in the north, a mix of diesel soot and workshop grit, and it clings to net curtains, window sills and the tops of kitchen cupboards. Floors in the older low rise housing are often plain cement or ceramic tile that darkens where soot is walked in. Humidity from the coast adds mildew in bathrooms and a musty smell in stored fabrics.
We provide these in Al Atheer too, and more than one can share a single visit.
