The gear reaches the scale
Proper descalers, matched to each surface, are what move mineral off glass and out of grout.

Mareekh is a small residential district in east Jeddah at the foot of the Mareekh Mountains within the hills and valley belt, close to Wadi Al Qaws, the valley behind Jeddah's well known 2009 flood. The air is drier than the coast but dust is coarser and darker from the hills and valleys. The bathroom needs deep cleaning because moisture trapped with coarse dry dust causes grey layers on wet surfaces and mould in grout lines.
Bathrooms here show thick grey film in basins and fast-returning mould in grout because trapped moisture combines with the coarse dry dust. For the method itself, see what bathroom cleaning involves.
District dust is very coarse and dark from hills and valleys, travels on feet and clothes straight into the bathroom. When it meets moisture it sticks and forms a thick grey layer difficult to wipe. Daily cleaning does not work because moisture traps it underneath.
Air outside is relatively dry but the flat surrounded by others and the small bathroom trap what moisture there is. Mould grows fast in grout lines and corners. Each joint needs deep soaking and individual cleaning by grout type.
Closeness to the valley and surrounding wadis may affect groundwater levels around the home, raising soil moisture. Dampness may rise from below in addition to trapped air moisture. The bathroom needs a full survey of its damp proof course and drainage.
Mareekh sits at the foot of the Mareekh Mountains in the hills and valley belt east of Jeddah, with coarse dark dust from the surrounding terrain.
Surfaces here are mixed between ceramic, terrazzo and possibly simple marble. We test each type with a safe product before starting work.
Basic taps carry light to moderate scale mixed with grey coarse dust from the hill air.
Black grout is from trapped moisture with no air flow. Deep soaking is necessary before gentle cleaning by grout type.
Glass and mirrors may be basic, so we use gentle product that does not scratch when polished.
Bath and toilet are simple ceramic or terrazzo. We focus on removing the grey sediment film carefully.
Drains may be affected by proximity to the valleys. We clean outlets and check the fan and advise improvements.
We open the room, take everything off the ledges and shelves, and lift loose hair from the drains before any water or chemical goes down.
Scale on glass, taps and the shower head is not scrubbed off cold.
The joints are treated and scrubbed along the line, top to bottom, because film sits in the porous grout and a flat wipe never enters it.
The bowl, the base joint and the floor trap are done as one stage, since this is where odour lives.
What the products loosened is lifted off, and everything is rinsed downward so nothing dirty settles back onto a cleaned surface.
The damp low corners are dried so nothing feeds mould again, then we walk the room with you.
Proper descalers, matched to each surface, are what move mineral off glass and out of grout.
We send a team, not a single person.
Where scale has already etched the glass or mould has stained the grout for good, we tell you at the inspection.
Nothing is called done until you have walked the room and said so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Mareekh too, and more than one can share a single visit.
