The gear reaches the scale
Proper descalers, matched to each surface, are what move mineral off glass and out of grout.

Al Mazloom sits at the heart of old Jeddah with stone and timber houses in the classic roshan style, built close together on narrow lanes where humidity clings to bathroom walls. Hard water scale builds faster in heritage districts, and mould beds itself into grout lines where the air moves slowly and never dries completely.
Bathrooms in the old houses here stay damper longer because narrow streets block air circulation and limit sunlight reaching the small windows. For the method itself, see our guide to bathroom cleaning.
Jeddah's hard water leaves thick white coatings on metal fittings in heritage houses, sometimes built up over twenty years or more. The bronze taps and mixers in Al Mazloom need special handling because the scale has sunk deep into the metal itself and cannot be scrubbed without risk of damage.
Close-built houses do not dry quickly, and black mould takes hold in grout lines and corners where a daily wipe never reaches it fully. These heritage homes were built without modern ventilation, so moisture settles and feeds the growth.
Copper and iron pipes in heritage houses leave brown and red marks in basins and tiles, and the old drains carry a stale smell that lingers. The worn floors have absorbed these stains and trapped them deep in the surface.
The heritage houses in Al Mazloom were built a century or more ago with aged pipework, worn marble and ceramic floors that bear the marks of decades of daily use and water.
The surfaces here are mixed: soft marble, worn ceramic tile and terrazzo floors, each needs a different product matched to its age and condition.
Scale on the old bronze taps is built up deep, the product needs longer to work and careful technique to avoid scratching the finish.
Old grout lines hold mould deep inside, we clean them one by one with care according to how strong or weak each joint has become.
Glass and mirrors are clouded by chronic damp and fine mould, we polish them back to full transparency.
The basin, trap and toilet need special internal cleaning because old pipework holds scale, rust and trapped smells that surface cleaning does not reach.
The drain and outlet need deep flushing to clear trapped scale, mould and hair, and open windows help it dry after work is done.
We open the room, take everything off the ledges and shelves, and lift loose hair from the drains before any water or chemical goes down.
Scale on glass, taps and the shower head is not scrubbed off cold.
The joints are treated and scrubbed along the line, top to bottom, because film sits in the porous grout and a flat wipe never enters it.
The bowl, the base joint and the floor trap are done as one stage, since this is where odour lives.
What the products loosened is lifted off, and everything is rinsed downward so nothing dirty settles back onto a cleaned surface.
The damp low corners are dried so nothing feeds mould again, then we walk the room with you.
Historic district: close-set buildings, narrow lanes and ageing services
An old heritage house means soft surfaces and deep stains. We test the product on a hidden spot first, and clean slowly with care so we do not scratch aged marble or damage antique glass.
Proper descalers, matched to each surface, are what move mineral off glass and out of grout.
We send a team, not a single person.
Where scale has already etched the glass or mould has stained the grout for good, we tell you at the inspection.
Nothing is called done until you have walked the room and said so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
Central Jeddah is the old heart of the city: Al Balad with its coral stone houses, and the dense apartment quarters around it with shops beneath the flats. Floors here are often terrazzo or older ceramic tile, worn smooth and easily stained by cooking grease that drifts up from the street. Older kitchens and bathrooms carry heavy scale on taps and around drains, and pipework in the older blocks leaves rust marks in basins. Rugs and curtains take on the fine black dust of the main roads, so they need washing more often than elsewhere.
We provide these in Al Mazloom too, and more than one can share a single visit.
