We test before we treat
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.

Al Thaalibah is an old unplanned quarter in south west Jeddah between Al Hindawiyah and Al Quraiyat, crowded low rise buildings with patchy services, within the city's slum clearance programme. High population density and location between the port and heavy roads means severe pollution from soot and engine oil, and shared pools in the apartment blocks need very strict management and daily attention.
Pools here may need daily water testing because soot and oil enter continuously and use intensity is very high, far exceeding other Jeddah districts. For the method itself, see our guide to swimming pool cleaning.
Location between Jeddah port and heavy roads means constant diesel soot flow. This pollution enters the water daily and forms an oily film. Filter backwash must be very frequent and filtration alone may not be enough to keep water safe.
High population density means very heavy daily use of shared pools. Water transfers to skin rapidly and chlorine burns away very fast. Testing must be daily, not weekly, to stay ahead of balance loss.
The old unplanned district may lack complete maintenance services. Pipework may be very basic or aged, and filters may be simple systems. This needs very frequent testing to confirm safety despite infrastructure limits.
The location between Jeddah port and heavy goods roads means air laden with continuous soot and oil, and the high population density means very heavy daily use of shared pools.
Testing in Al Thaalibah must be daily because continuous soot, very heavy use and limited services mean the pool degrades fast and needs constant vigilance.
Wall brushing may need to remove thick oily deposits, and old walls need careful handling to prevent damage while removing the coatings.
Floor vacuuming must be almost daily because soot and pollution settle continuously and heavy use loads the pool with debris.
Skimmer and basket cleaning is needed daily because oil and soot enter constantly and clog the baskets rapidly.
Filter backwash may be needed weekly or more often, and a simple filter may not suffice alone, requiring media replacement faster than normal.
Chemical balance adjustment must follow complete oil and soot removal, and repeated testing and adjustment may be needed because conditions worsen quickly.
pH, sanitiser and hardness are read at the start.
Floating leaves and debris come off before we brush.
Algae and the oily waterline film cling to the surfaces.
Silt settles in the deep end and the corners the return jets never reach.
The skimmer and pump baskets are cleared and the filter checked or backwashed.
With the water clean, we balance and dose, then walk the pool with you before leaving.
Apartment district: residential blocks, repeated floors and shared entrances
Old unplanned apartment district means very heavy shared pool use and severe port soot pollution, so daily testing and extremely careful ongoing attention are necessary for water safety.
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.
The company runs a large crew, and we send a team rather than one person.
Pumps, vacuum heads and the test kit come with the team.
If the pump or the plumbing is the real problem, we tell you.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we don't leave until you've seen the result and had your say on it.
Pools in Al Thaalibah lie between Al Falah Road and King Khalid Road near Al Thaalibah Park, accessed via the Jeddah Islamic Port from the west or via Al Thaalibah Mosque from other directions.
We provide these in Al Thaalibah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
