We test before we treat
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.

Al Shuwaidi is a newly developed subdivision of Obhur Al Shamaliyah in north Jeddah, where residential plots are freshly released to market and construction is still ongoing. Most pools here are brand new, installed in homes completed only recently. But the villa's courtyard or garden is often still bare earth, not yet landscaped. Fine sand blows constantly from undeveloped ground, and the proximity to the Red Sea adds salt to the air. The water chemistry shifts very rapidly.
Almost every pool here sits in a brand new villa, but the courtyard or garden has not yet been landscaped. The exposed sandy ground and ongoing construction around the property make the pool dirty very quickly. For the method itself, see what swimming pool cleaning involves.
Al Shuwaidi is brand new and villas are recently released. Most homeowners have not yet designed or completed their garden or courtyard, so the ground is exposed sand. Wind carries fine sand into the pool continuously. Vacuuming is essential weekly, even if the water looks clear to the eye.
Al Shuwaidi sits very close to the Red Sea and creek. Sea air carries faint salt that settles on surfaces and enters the water. This raises alkalinity and shifts the chemical balance rapidly. Weekly testing is essential to catch and correct drift before crisis strikes.
Al Shuwaidi still has active excavation and ongoing building. Cement dust, gravel and soil blow from construction sites into neighbouring pools. This heavy dust settles to the floor very quickly and demands repeated vacuuming.
A subdivision of Obhur Al Shamaliyah in north Jeddah, part of the new urban extension made up of newly released residential plots, served by main roads linking to the Jeddah Madinah Road and King Abdulaziz Road.
Water in Al Shuwaidi carries faint salt from the nearby sea and fine sand from exposed land, so we test pH, salt and alkalinity before starting.
Walls and waterline trap fine sand and faint white salt film from the coast, so brushing is gentle and thorough.
The floor collects sand and construction dust very quickly because the district is new and land is exposed, so vacuuming is frequent.
Skimmer and basket hold far more sand and salt than in mature settled districts, needing careful regular cleaning.
The filter medium holds very fine sand particles and dissolved salt, so backwashing is vigorous and rinsing with fresh water is essential.
The final chemical reset focuses on reducing salt and alkalinity from the sea air and clearing dissolved sand particles.
pH, sanitiser and hardness are read at the start.
Floating leaves and debris come off before we brush.
Algae and the oily waterline film cling to the surfaces.
Silt settles in the deep end and the corners the return jets never reach.
The skimmer and pump baskets are cleared and the filter checked or backwashed.
With the water clean, we balance and dose, then walk the pool with you before leaving.
New development: ongoing construction and vacant plots between the homes
A newly developed district means villas and land are brand new and gardens are often not yet finished. Bare exposed ground raises sand constantly, and active construction across the district spreads cement dust. This makes the pool dirty much faster than in fully developed and landscaped neighbourhoods.

The company runs a large crew, and we send a team rather than one person.
Pumps, vacuum heads and the test kit come with the team.
If the pump or the plumbing is the real problem, we tell you.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we don't leave until you've seen the result and had your say on it.
Al Shuwaidi is reached via the Jeddah Madinah Road and King Abdulaziz Road, both major roads that help us locate the villa quickly. Abhor Park nearby is also a known reference point when we arrive at the neighbourhood.
We provide these in Al Shuwaidi too, and more than one can share a single visit.
