We test before we treat
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.

Al Safhah is a small district in the Taibah sub-municipality area of east Jeddah near Asfan, crossed by the University of Jeddah road and close to its stadium, one of a cluster of small quarters with simple residential character on the boundary with Al Jumum governorate. Air is dry and dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It creeps under doors and settles on every surface overnight. Pools here are basic and water may carry sediment from roof tanks.
Pools here are basic and water may carry heavy dust sediment, and rapid evaporation in dry air means mineral scale accumulates faster than in coastal neighbourhoods. For the method itself, see what swimming pool cleaning involves.
The quarter sits close to hills and desert ground. Dry air carries coarse, pale dust very different from coastal dust. It enters the pool easily under doors and windows and settles on every surface. The skimmer and filter will load fast and water may stay cloudy. Mechanical cleaning is constant work here.
Dry air means very fast evaporation. As water evaporates, salt and minerals concentrate on the surface and walls. White scale appears quickly, and roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins. Scale needs regular hard scraping to remove.
The roof tank may be old or fouled. Water drawn from the tank may carry brown or grey sediment. As water lost to evaporation is replaced from the tank, sediment comes with it. We test and identify where sediment originates, because tank cleaning is a separate job.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight.
Water testing may reveal heavy mineral sediment from dust and rapid evaporation.
Brushing may address mineral scale more than algae in this dry area.
Vacuuming is essential to remove coarse dust and roof tank sediment from the floor.
Skimmer and baskets load fast with coarse brown dust from open ground and hills.
Filter backwash may need to be very frequent because dust load is heavy and continuous.
Balancing chemistry needs special care for mineral sediment from rapid evaporation.
pH, sanitiser and hardness are read at the start.
Floating leaves and debris come off before we brush.
Algae and the oily waterline film cling to the surfaces.
Silt settles in the deep end and the corners the return jets never reach.
The skimmer and pump baskets are cleared and the filter checked or backwashed.
With the water clean, we balance and dose, then walk the pool with you before leaving.

The company runs a large crew, and we send a team rather than one person.
Pumps, vacuum heads and the test kit come with the team.
If the pump or the plumbing is the real problem, we tell you.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we don't leave until you've seen the result and had your say on it.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Al Safhah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
