We test before we treat
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.

Al Marsa is a far south Jeddah residential subdivision whose name means harbour, lying toward the coastal side of this outlying cluster. The neighbourhood is very new and building is scattered with extensive bare ground, so pools are scarce and very new, facing light sea air and salt mixed with sand blown from open land, requiring sensitive chemical balance.
Pools here are scarce and mostly brand new at early stages of use, owners expect simple maintenance but the hybrid environment mixing coastal and desert features demands special attention. For the method itself, see the full swimming pool cleaning page.
Al Marsa is close to the coast but not beachfront, so salt levels are lighter than Al Shiraa. Sea air still carries moisture and faint salt, and the filter needs backwashing every two weeks, and weekly testing is usually enough.
Undeveloped land surrounds the district widely, so fine sand blows readily with the sea breeze. Pools receive salt and sea spray from one direction and sand from another, creating a complex balance between salt and sand.
The neighbourhood is brand new and basic services may not yet be complete. Fill water may come from a local tank or well, and mineral sediment may be higher than in fully serviced areas.
A remote southern neighbourhood close to shore but not encircled by building, extensive bare ground surrounds the pools and light sea air prevails, so sand and salt enter water together.
Testing weekly determines the effect of salt and sand from the surrounding environment, and first testing may reveal mineral deposits from fill water.
Brushing walls focuses on removing light algae and settled salt rather than heavy accumulation.
Vacuuming the floor weekly or every ten days because sand from bare ground settles at a moderate rate.
Cleaning skimmer and baskets weekly or every ten days because salt, sand and possible leaves from the district enter together.
Filter backwashing every two weeks is reasonable, and may extend to three weeks after two months of use.
Chemical balance adjustment needs careful testing because salt and sand and rapid evaporation affect water together.
pH, sanitiser and hardness are read at the start.
Floating leaves and debris come off before we brush.
Algae and the oily waterline film cling to the surfaces.
Silt settles in the deep end and the corners the return jets never reach.
The skimmer and pump baskets are cleared and the filter checked or backwashed.
With the water clean, we balance and dose, then walk the pool with you before leaving.

The company runs a large crew, and we send a team rather than one person.
Pumps, vacuum heads and the test kit come with the team.
If the pump or the plumbing is the real problem, we tell you.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we don't leave until you've seen the result and had your say on it.
Reaching pools in Al Marsa is via Al Lith Road, the Ring Road or Jeddah Axial Road. The area lies near Jeddah Second Industrial City, and location identification may need precise coordinates from the owner.
We provide these in Al Marsa too, and more than one can share a single visit.
