We test before we treat
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.

Al Faisaliyah is an older central district of northern Jeddah cut by King Fahd Road, dominated by dense apartment blocks with villas between them. Pools here sit in small courtyards between buildings, surrounded by worn terrazzo and older ceramic floors. Water collects grease from restaurants below and fine dust from the main road above.
Dense older neighbourhoods need more precise chemical adjustment because heat swings quickly in narrow courtyards and aged tile retains warmth unevenly. For the method itself, see our guide to swimming pool cleaning.
Aged metal pipes throughout the district shed iron and rust particles directly into the pool. Testing for iron must come first, and we may need iron fixative before chlorine to prevent staining and cloudiness.
Aged terrazzo and older ceramic has become porous over decades, and mineral scale penetrates into the material. Standard suction cannot extract deposits trapped inside the tile; deep suction and careful scrubbing must work together.
Old houses and tight courtyards hold humidity poorly, and walls take on a white salt crust from the stale air. Scraping followed by water rinsing is necessary to clear these deposits.
An older district of dense apartment buildings with scattered villas, bounded by King Fahd Road and Prince Majid Road, with small pools nestled in tight household courtyards.
Testing prioritises iron and pH first, because old pipes affect water chemistry more than any other factor in this district.
Brushing is very gentle here because aged tile and terrazzo are fragile and break easily under vigorous scrubbing.
Vacuuming must run deeper and slower because scale and fine sediment penetrate the aged tile and require careful extraction.
The skimmer and baskets need frequent cleaning because salt and mineral deposits accumulate on them rapidly.
The filter needs regular backwash and may need media replacement in time if wear from fine particles becomes severe.
Chemical balance requires extra steps to fix iron before chlorine addition, and retesting after an hour to confirm stability.
pH, sanitiser and hardness are read at the start.
Floating leaves and debris come off before we brush.
Algae and the oily waterline film cling to the surfaces.
Silt settles in the deep end and the corners the return jets never reach.
The skimmer and pump baskets are cleared and the filter checked or backwashed.
With the water clean, we balance and dose, then walk the pool with you before leaving.

The company runs a large crew, and we send a team rather than one person.
Pumps, vacuum heads and the test kit come with the team.
If the pump or the plumbing is the real problem, we tell you.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we don't leave until you've seen the result and had your say on it.
Central Jeddah is the old heart of the city: Al Balad with its coral stone houses, and the dense apartment quarters around it with shops beneath the flats. Floors here are often terrazzo or older ceramic tile, worn smooth and easily stained by cooking grease that drifts up from the street. Older kitchens and bathrooms carry heavy scale on taps and around drains, and pipework in the older blocks leaves rust marks in basins. Rugs and curtains take on the fine black dust of the main roads, so they need washing more often than elsewhere.
We provide these in Al Faisaliyah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
