We test before we treat
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.

Al Bawadi pools sit in an established district between King Fahd Road and Madinah Road, where furnished apartments, small hotels and shops sit closely packed. The main roads that border it bring constant heavy traffic with oily black dust from trucks and diesel engines. Water here needs comprehensive testing from the start because the contaminants are not light sand but a mix of oils, soot and sediment from old urban pipework.
Water here carries more contamination than any other Jeddah district. Fine black diesel soot from heavy vehicles settles daily. The filter clogs faster and chlorine is consumed faster than anywhere else in the city. For the method itself, see the full swimming pool cleaning page.
King Fahd Road and Madinah Road run directly beside the district. Heavy truck and vehicle traffic means oily black diesel soot settles on everything constantly. Pool water picks up this soot easily, and the filter clogs faster than in any other neighbourhood, sometimes clogging within days instead of weeks.
Al Bawadi is one of Jeddah's oldest districts, so old copper and brass pipes leave green oxide deposits in the water. Mains water from the city network carries sediment from pipes that are decades old. This means specialised testing is needed and the filter may require cleaning more than the average.
Daily intensive use by tourists and workers increases the pool load significantly. Sweat and body debris from high turnover of users enter the water constantly. This pool faces not only external pollutants from the roads but also heavy biological contamination from intense daily use.
Al Bawadi is a long-standing district between busy main roads, with older terrazzo and ceramic floors, pools in hotels, furnished apartments and occasional villas, with Quraish Street running through it lined by shops serving residents and tourists.
Water testing here includes soot and mineral deposits from old piping, not just chlorine and pH levels.
Cleaning starts from Quraish Street and varies based on proximity to King Fahd Road: closer locations carry heavier dust load.
Vacuuming needs to reach deep because heavy soot settles to the floor fast and clings to the surface.
Skimmer and baskets fill with thick black dust, so we clean them thoroughly and check the connected pipes.
Filter backwashing must be vigorous and frequent, often double the frequency of other districts to handle the sediment load.
Chemical balance reset accounts for fast chlorine consumption because heavy contaminants demand more sanitiser.
pH, sanitiser and hardness are read at the start.
Floating leaves and debris come off before we brush.
Algae and the oily waterline film cling to the surfaces.
Silt settles in the deep end and the corners the return jets never reach.
The skimmer and pump baskets are cleared and the filter checked or backwashed.
With the water clean, we balance and dose, then walk the pool with you before leaving.
We reach Al Bawadi via Quraish Street where furnished apartments and small hotels line the way continuously, and may pass Al Hijaz Mall or the Engineering Roundabout to pinpoint the villa or building location. The district is established and internal roads are complex, so we use landmarks to navigate reliably to the pool.
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.
The company runs a large crew, and we send a team rather than one person.
Pumps, vacuum heads and the test kit come with the team.
If the pump or the plumbing is the real problem, we tell you.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we don't leave until you've seen the result and had your say on it.
Central Jeddah is the old heart of the city: Al Balad with its coral stone houses, and the dense apartment quarters around it with shops beneath the flats. Floors here are often terrazzo or older ceramic tile, worn smooth and easily stained by cooking grease that drifts up from the street. Older kitchens and bathrooms carry heavy scale on taps and around drains, and pipework in the older blocks leaves rust marks in basins. Rugs and curtains take on the fine black dust of the main roads, so they need washing more often than elsewhere.
We provide these in Al Bawadi too, and more than one can share a single visit.
