Al Ajwad is a mixed district in north eastern Jeddah just east of the Haramain expressway, where villas and mid rise apartment buildings sit alongside shop frontages on Al Ajwad Street, next to Al Samir and Al Manar. The air here is drier than the coast and the dust is coarser than in northern neighbourhoods, blown from open ground and the ring roads.
Dry easterly air and coarse dust from the ring roads means the filter clogs in a different pattern, walls need strong brushing, and the floor needs deep vacuuming because larger particles settle fast. For the method itself, see how we approach swimming pool cleaning.
Al Ajwad is eastern and far from the sea with open ground close by. Dust here is coarser and paler than coastal dust, sometimes called desert dust. This coarser dust clogs the filter with larger particles and needs stronger backwashing but shorter duration than the fine salt-laden dust from the seaside.
Dry air means chlorine evaporates faster than in coastal quarters. But low humidity means algae grows slower than it would in humid stagnant air. Chemistry is simpler than in damp quarters but chlorine needs frequent adjustment and monitoring.
Al Ajwad holds villas, apartments and shops, so pools may be shared by apartment blocks or private to villas. Shared apartment pools carry heavier use load than isolated villa pools, and water chemistry crashes faster under continuous simultaneous use.

The first test in Al Ajwad focuses on chlorine, pH and coarse sediment levels, because coarse dust and dry air mean chemistry shifts differently than in coastal areas.
Walls need very strong brushing because coarse dust adheres to tile harder than fine dust does, and the particle size means mechanical scrubbing is more important.
Vacuuming must be thorough and deep because fine gravel from the roads settles on the floor fast and may not float to the skimmer like lighter dust does.
The skimmer and baskets fill at a moderate rate from coarse dust and gravel, and may need weekly or twice weekly emptying depending on season.
Filter backwash is stronger than for coastal fine dust but shorter in duration, because larger particles need forceful mechanical action but do not clog as stubbornly as fine salt dust.
Chemical balance in Al Ajwad is simpler than in humid coastal areas but needs frequent chlorine adjustment because it evaporates fast in dry air.
pH, sanitiser and hardness are read at the start.
Floating leaves and debris come off before we brush.
Algae and the oily waterline film cling to the surfaces.
Silt settles in the deep end and the corners the return jets never reach.
The skimmer and pump baskets are cleared and the filter checked or backwashed.
With the water clean, we balance and dose, then walk the pool with you before leaving.

The company runs a large crew, and we send a team rather than one person.
Pumps, vacuum heads and the test kit come with the team.
If the pump or the plumbing is the real problem, we tell you.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we don't leave until you've seen the result and had your say on it.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Al Ajwad too, and more than one can share a single visit.
