We test before we treat
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.

Al Manar is a mixed residential district in east Jeddah stretching from Hada Al Sham Road in the north down to Al Samir in the south, where villas share the blocks with modestly priced apartment buildings and neighbourhood shopping centres such as Al Manar Plaza and Al Yasmin Mall on its fringe.
Dry easterly air and coarse dust from the ring roads mean the filter clogs in a distinctive pattern, and low humidity means chlorine evaporates fast but algae growth is slower than in humid coastal districts. For the method itself, see our swimming pool cleaning service in detail.
Al Manar holds isolated villas with private pools and apartment blocks with shared pools bearing heavy simultaneous use. Private villa pools need deep chemical testing and semi-monthly cleaning. Shared apartment pools need weekly testing and at least semi-weekly physical cleaning. Chemistry and management strategies must differ by pool type.
Easterly dry air and coarse dust from the ring roads mean the filter clogs in a distinctive pattern. Chlorine evaporates faster than it does in humid coastal areas. But filter backwash is stronger but shorter than for fine coastal dust because the particle size is larger and heavier.
Low humidity means algae spreads more slowly in open areas than it does on the coast. But narrow streets and surrounding buildings can trap pockets of stagnant humid air. Fine algae can establish beneath the surface even at acceptable chlorine levels because the trapped pockets stay humid and dark.
Al Manar is a mixed residential district in east Jeddah stretching from Hada Al Sham Road north to Al Samir south, with villas, modest apartment buildings and shopping centres, Al Manar Park and Al Manar Plaza serving the neighbourhood.
The first test in Al Manar focuses on chlorine, pH and coarse sediment levels, because dry air and coarse dust mean chemistry shifts differently than in coastal areas.
Walls need very strong brushing because coarse dust adheres to tile harder than fine dust does, and mechanical scrubbing is more important than chemical treatment.
Vacuuming must be thorough and deep because fine gravel from the roads settles on the floor fast and may not float to the skimmer like lighter dust does.
The skimmer and baskets fill at a moderate rate from coarse dust and gravel, and weekly or ten-day cleaning intervals are usually sufficient.
Filter backwash is stronger than for coastal fine dust but shorter in duration, because larger particles need forceful mechanical action but do not cling as stubbornly as fine salt dust.
Chemical balance in Al Manar needs frequent chlorine adjustment because it evaporates fast in dry air, yet fine algae may grow beneath the surface in stagnant humid pockets.
pH, sanitiser and hardness are read at the start.
Floating leaves and debris come off before we brush.
Algae and the oily waterline film cling to the surfaces.
Silt settles in the deep end and the corners the return jets never reach.
The skimmer and pump baskets are cleared and the filter checked or backwashed.
With the water clean, we balance and dose, then walk the pool with you before leaving.

The company runs a large crew, and we send a team rather than one person.
Pumps, vacuum heads and the test kit come with the team.
If the pump or the plumbing is the real problem, we tell you.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we don't leave until you've seen the result and had your say on it.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Al Manar too, and more than one can share a single visit.
