We test before we degrease
Testing the solution on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Dhahban West is the western side of the old coastal village of Dhahban on the Red Sea north of Jeddah, a historic settlement of old waterfront homes with scattered dwellings. Salt humidity is extremely high year-round. Grease mixes with salt and moisture to become very sticky, and the historic stone and wooden floors are fragile and easily damaged by strong products.
Homes here are very old with stone or timber floors that are sensitive. The salt humidity here is far higher than in Jeddah city districts, and grease mixes with salt and moisture to become extremely sticky. For the method itself, see how we approach kitchen cleaning.
Dhahban sits directly on the sea and salt humidity is severe year-round. This salty damp air enters the kitchen continuously and makes grease extremely thick and difficult to dissolve. Salt leaves heavy white deposits on surfaces, and moisture prevents rapid drying after cleaning.
Dhahban is an ancient village and most homes are very old, with floors of sea stone or aged wood that are extremely sensitive to strong chemicals and excess water. Deep cleaning requires extreme caution in product choice, and hard scrubbing is not possible like in modern homes.
Dhahban sits open to the sea with no shelter, so salty air enters the kitchen constantly. This makes it very hard to maintain cleaning results; salt returns quickly and moisture persists. The home is so close to the water that salt and humidity are non-stop.
An old coastal village settlement on the Red Sea directly north of Jeddah, with historic homes and scattered dwellings near the shoreline, surrounded by open land and hills.
Cabinet fronts in the village carry heavy salt deposits under the grease, so we remove salt first with a gentle product, then remove grease. Old cabinets may need polishing after finishing to restore the worn shine.
Extractor hood is old and may be corroded by salt and moisture already. We clean it carefully because corrosion may be advanced, and we may recommend filter or hood replacement.
Stovetop and splashback are very old and fragile, requiring gentle scrubbing and salt removal first before grease removal with a mild approach.
Old tile in Dhahban is extremely sensitive to hard scrubbing and excess water, so we clean very carefully and allow rapid drying.
Sink and tap fixtures are very old and may be salt-corroded already, so we clean carefully because plumbing beneath may be very weak.
Floor is sea stone or very old wood and needs very gentle cleaning and rapid drying, because excess water will cause damage.
Painted cabinets, laminate, natural stone and stainless steel do not take the same degreaser.
We start high, the tops of cabinets and the hood, and work down to the floor.
The degreaser is put on the heavy areas and given time to break the oil down before it is wiped.
The metal filter carries the worst of the grease and is soaked and worked on its own, not just wiped in place, because a clogged filter puts the oil straight back into the air.
The burners, the tiled splash and the grout lines take focused work, since the grout darkens first and a flat wipe passes over it.
We go over the kitchen with you before the team leaves.

We send a team, not a single worker.
The degreasers and tools come with the team.
If what the kitchen needs is a repair or pest treatment rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
The village lies close to Dhahban Park and the coastal King Abdulaziz Road very near Durrat Al Arus Resort, and we plan the approach route using the coastal road and confirm freshwater availability because local wells may be brackish.
We provide these in Dhahban West too, and more than one can share a single visit.
