We test before we degrease
Testing the solution on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Shorouq is a district in east Jeddah between Al Wahah and Al Tawfiq, due east of the Haramain Road and far from the sea. The air here is dry and coarse, and fine dust from the hills mixes with grease and darkens it into a stubborn compound. Floors are glossy ceramic in apartment zones and marble in villa areas, and both scratch easily from grit if not swept before mopping. Grease here is lighter in colour than in south Jeddah but the coarse dust makes it harder to remove.
Coarse dry dust from the hills enters kitchens, bringing fine grit and sand particles. Grease mixes with this dust and becomes grey-toned, difficult to dissolve with water alone. For the method itself, see our kitchen cleaning service in detail.
Al Shorouq faces the desert hills and the air is dry and gritty. Fine dust from sand and pebbles enters the kitchen and mixes with grease to discolour it. This compound is harder to remove than pure grease, and water alone cannot break it. We need a chemical degreaser that dissolves grease and clears dust simultaneously.
Flats in Al Shorouq have shiny new ceramic floors, and villas have polished marble. Fine grit from the hills gets tracked in on shoes and scratches the gloss when mopped. We must sweep thoroughly before mopping, and hard scrubbing without prior sweeping may cause permanent scratches.
The dry air in Al Shorouq means grease does not dissolve easily with water alone like it does in humid zones. Grease becomes a dry, tacky deposit on surfaces that does not flow freely, so we need chemical treatment that we leave to work for a longer time.
A relatively modern residential district east of the Haramain Road between Al Wahah and Al Tawfiq, with mixed apartment buildings and villas, far from the coast and close to desert hills.
Cabinet fronts in Al Shorouq are new and glossy and need gentle touch, with dust mixed into grease so we use a product that removes both together. We recommend caution with glossy paint finishes.
Extractor hood and filter are relatively clean because dry air causes no moisture buildup. Fine dust may clog the filter though, so we clean it thoroughly and may recommend replacement if air flow is weak.
Stovetop and splashback are relatively clean but may carry dust-darkened grease, which we treat with product that removes dust and grease combined without hard scrubbing that would damage new tile.
Tile behind the hob is new and glossy and grout lines are clean relatively. We clean carefully because new tile scratches easily from hard scrubbing.
Sink and tap fixtures are glossy and white mineral scale from roof tank water may appear on them. We clean with a product that removes mineral and iron staining together.
Floor is new glossy tile or marble and extremely vulnerable to grit scratches, so thorough sweeping before mopping is essential and rapid drying protects the finish.
Painted cabinets, laminate, natural stone and stainless steel do not take the same degreaser.
We start high, the tops of cabinets and the hood, and work down to the floor.
The degreaser is put on the heavy areas and given time to break the oil down before it is wiped.
The metal filter carries the worst of the grease and is soaked and worked on its own, not just wiped in place, because a clogged filter puts the oil straight back into the air.
The burners, the tiled splash and the grout lines take focused work, since the grout darkens first and a flat wipe passes over it.
We go over the kitchen with you before the team leaves.

We send a team, not a single worker.
The degreasers and tools come with the team.
If what the kitchen needs is a repair or pest treatment rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Al Shorouq too, and more than one can share a single visit.
