We test before we degrease
Testing the solution on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Safwah is a simple residential district east of Jeddah between the University of Jeddah road and Al Jumum, home to both traditional and young families in medium-sized villas and apartments. Cooking here is daily and heavy, and grease builds fast on cabinet fronts, hoods and walls. Cleaning a kitchen in this neighbourhood is not a light wipe: it means breaking through hardened grease layers that plain water cannot shift.
Kitchens in Al Safwah need specialist degreasing more often than lighter-use kitchens: grease builds fast on every surface because cooking happens every single day. For the method itself, see our kitchen cleaning service in detail.
Cabinet fronts collect most of the oil spray from daily cooking. Layers harden and turn dark brown, trapping dust and debris. Plain soap and water will not break it. Proper cleaning uses a degreaser with time to work, then a soft brush to lift residue without damaging the finish or wood underneath.
The filter traps oil particles and dust together until it becomes thick and airflow drops. Soaking it in hot water with degreaser for time to work, then soft brushing, is the only way to restore it. Rinsing in plain water leaves grease behind.
The wall directly behind the hob takes the most oil mist, steam and direct splash. Tiles turn sticky and dull. Surface wiping spreads grease around. The fix is a strong degreaser left to dwell, followed by thorough rinsing with clean water and a final dry to prevent streaks.
A residential district with family homes where daily cooking is heavy and constant. Cabinets, hoods and walls behind the hob need specialist degreasing to cut through layers built by regular, intensive cooking.
Cabinet fronts are cleaned first from top to bottom with degreaser, allowing time for the product to break through months of buildup from daily cooking before soft brushing and rinsing.
The hood and filter are treated together: the filter soaks in hot degreaser while the hood exterior is wiped with the same product to remove accumulated spray and haze.
The oven and hob need separate attention because burned grease and heat require a stronger, more specialised product than cabinet degreaser formulations.
Tiles and wall behind the hob take the heaviest oil spray and need strong degreaser with dwell time, vigorous scrubbing and thorough rinsing to clear stubborn layers.
Sink and mixer tap are cleaned after walls and hob to rinse away any degreaser residue and restore shine, using fresh clean water to avoid redepositing grease back on surfaces.
Floor and corners are mopped last with clean water after all debris has been cleared from above surfaces, then left to dry completely before the kitchen is used again.
Painted cabinets, laminate, natural stone and stainless steel do not take the same degreaser.
We start high, the tops of cabinets and the hood, and work down to the floor.
The degreaser is put on the heavy areas and given time to break the oil down before it is wiped.
The metal filter carries the worst of the grease and is soaked and worked on its own, not just wiped in place, because a clogged filter puts the oil straight back into the air.
The burners, the tiled splash and the grout lines take focused work, since the grout darkens first and a flat wipe passes over it.
We go over the kitchen with you before the team leaves.

We send a team, not a single worker.
The degreasers and tools come with the team.
If what the kitchen needs is a repair or pest treatment rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Al Safwah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
