We test before we degrease
Testing the solution on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Atheer is a small locality on the Jeddah Makkah Expressway in south Jeddah, with newer housing and a few shops, sitting between heavy truck routes and the sea. Kitchens here collect diesel soot from the road and humidity from the coast at the same time, suffering a combination that is much harder to remove than either alone.
Coastal humidity and diesel soot together create a strange smell in the kitchen that is neither simple dampness nor ordinary traffic smell alone. For the method itself, see how we approach kitchen cleaning.
Soot from the road rises while coastal humidity sinks into the same surfaces at the same time, building a sticky, oily, very heavy layer. This is not simple grease removal as in a normal residential kitchen.
High coastal humidity causes mould to grow quickly in corners and tile grout. Both the kitchen and bathroom suffer from it, though the kitchen is affected more because it catches both humidity and soot.
Many homes in Al Atheer have plain cement floors rather than ceramic. Soot and humidity blacken cement very quickly, and deep cleaning may not remove the discolouration completely even after thorough treatment.
The locality sits on the Jeddah Makkah Expressway and depends on services shared with the wider Bahrah area, caught between the sea and the heavy traffic routes simultaneously.
Cabinet fronts here collect very heavy black grease mixed with moisture, and the paint may peel from underneath the deposit.
The hood traps a mixture of soot and humidity, and the filter blocks very quickly with something black, oily and difficult.
Oven and stovetop bear cooking grease but are surrounded by humidity and soot migrating inward from outside.
Tiles behind the hob are blackened by soot, and the gaps between tiles show green mould from constant high humidity.
Tap and basin may show rust, mineral scale and green algae all together from the continuous moisture.
Cement floors are blackened by soot and humidity together, and even deep cleaning may not restore them fully to their original colour.
Painted cabinets, laminate, natural stone and stainless steel do not take the same degreaser.
We start high, the tops of cabinets and the hood, and work down to the floor.
The degreaser is put on the heavy areas and given time to break the oil down before it is wiped.
The metal filter carries the worst of the grease and is soaked and worked on its own, not just wiped in place, because a clogged filter puts the oil straight back into the air.
The burners, the tiled splash and the grout lines take focused work, since the grout darkens first and a flat wipe passes over it.
We go over the kitchen with you before the team leaves.
Mixed district: shops at street level with homes above them
A small mixed locality on a busy expressway with coastal humidity means every ordinary grease problem becomes much worse. Grease does not dry easily, humidity causes immediate mould, and sea salt leaves permanent marks that are separate from the grease itself.
Testing the solution on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.
We send a team, not a single worker.
The degreasers and tools come with the team.
If what the kitchen needs is a repair or pest treatment rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
South Jeddah runs from the port and the industrial city down towards Al Khumrah, and homes here sit between the sea and the heavy goods roads. The dust is darker and oilier than in the north, a mix of diesel soot and workshop grit, and it clings to net curtains, window sills and the tops of kitchen cupboards. Floors in the older low rise housing are often plain cement or ceramic tile that darkens where soot is walked in. Humidity from the coast adds mildew in bathrooms and a musty smell in stored fabrics.
We provide these in Al Atheer too, and more than one can share a single visit.
