We test before we degrease
Testing the solution on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Ammariyah kitchens sit in older apartment blocks in central Jeddah around Eve Cemetery, on a tight street grid near Al Matar Street. The district is old, and so are its kitchens. Grease here is fine black dust from the main roads rather than yellow oil, and thick white scale has accumulated on taps and drains over decades. Terrazzo and older ceramic floors are worn smooth and easily stained. Everything absorbs grease readily because age has weakened the surface protection.
Grease here is fine black dust from the busy main roads, not the typical yellow cooking oil. Terrazzo and old ceramic floors are worn smooth from decades of use and absorb grease readily. For the method itself, see what kitchen cleaning involves.
The main road and proximity to the airport send fine black dust into the kitchen constantly. This dust mixes with cooking grease to create a heavy black film instead of the usual yellow stickiness. Removal requires more scrubbing and a degreaser strong enough to cut both the grease and the trapped particles without harming an aged surface.
Hard water and old pipework have left heavy white deposits on tap fixtures and around sink drains, accumulated over decades. The scale is thick and needs a moderate acid product and gentle brushing to remove it without scratching fixtures that are themselves weakened by age.
Terrazzo and ceramic from the nineteen-fifties and sixties are worn smooth by decades of foot traffic, making them vulnerable to staining and scratching. Grease penetrates easily because the surface protection has worn away, and the sealant is long gone.
A central Jeddah district around Maqbarat Ummina Hawwa, the Eve Cemetery, sitting between Bab Makkah and the old district on the landward side. Older apartment blocks occupy a tight street grid close to Al Matar Street and Khalid ibn Al Walid Street, mostly built in the nineteen-fifties and sixties.
Old cabinets may be sensitive to strong products, so we test a mild option on a back area first before committing to the full clean.
The hood and filter on old units carry heavy black dust mixed with grease, requiring careful treatment without harsh brushes that could damage aged paint.
Stovetop and burners hold black grease mixed with dust, needing extended soak and careful brushwork to separate both.
Old tile behind the hob may be porous and weak from age, so we test the product on a corner before scrubbing.
Old sink and mixer carry thick white scale deposits; we remove them gently with a moderate acid product and soft brush.
Worn terrazzo or old ceramic floors are fragile; we sweep thoroughly and mop gently to avoid damage to a weakened surface.
Painted cabinets, laminate, natural stone and stainless steel do not take the same degreaser.
We start high, the tops of cabinets and the hood, and work down to the floor.
The degreaser is put on the heavy areas and given time to break the oil down before it is wiped.
The metal filter carries the worst of the grease and is soaked and worked on its own, not just wiped in place, because a clogged filter puts the oil straight back into the air.
The burners, the tiled splash and the grout lines take focused work, since the grout darkens first and a flat wipe passes over it.
We go over the kitchen with you before the team leaves.

We send a team, not a single worker.
The degreasers and tools come with the team.
If what the kitchen needs is a repair or pest treatment rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
Central Jeddah is the old heart of the city: Al Balad with its coral stone houses, and the dense apartment quarters around it with shops beneath the flats. Floors here are often terrazzo or older ceramic tile, worn smooth and easily stained by cooking grease that drifts up from the street. Older kitchens and bathrooms carry heavy scale on taps and around drains, and pipework in the older blocks leaves rust marks in basins. Rugs and curtains take on the fine black dust of the main roads, so they need washing more often than elsewhere.
We provide these in Al Ammariyah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
