We test before we degrease
Testing the solution on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Ajwad is a mixed district east of the Haramain expressway in the inner east of Jeddah, with villas and apartment blocks side by side and shops on the ground floor along Al Ajwad Street. The air here is drier than the coast and the dust is coarse and pale in colour, entering freely through doors and windows and settling on kitchen grease before dawn.
The district is far from the sea and close to open ground and hills, so dust enters freely from every street and the kitchen needs frequent cleaning because the dust returns fast. For the method itself, see our kitchen cleaning service in detail.
Al Ajwad is far from the coast and close to desert and hills, so the dust is coarse, pale and heavy. It comes in under sealed doors and through closed windows, and settles on fresh cooking grease before it has dried. This mixture is difficult because the dust sticks and the grease sets it hard.
Al Ajwad Street is high-traffic with scattered shops and small restaurants, so grease rises from the commercial spaces into the flats and villas nearby. Daily heavy footfall means extra dust from trucks and cars, and the kitchen takes from every source at once.
Villas in Al Ajwad have gardens and irrigation which adds light humidity, flats have less space and faster ventilation. But both have the same problem of mixed dust and grease, and the material and method do not differ greatly between housing types.
Al Ajwad sits in north eastern Jeddah just east of the expressway, a planned grid of villas and mid-rise residential buildings with shop frontages along Al Ajwad Street, serving the area with Zamzam Park and a health centre.
Cabinets in Al Ajwad are glossy but dust sticks to the shine very fast, and grease turns black when mixed with sand.
Hood and filter heat quickly from cooking and the warm eastern air, and dust clogs the filter faster than on the coast.
Oven and hob sit on a busy street so smoke enters through open doors and the stove dirties fast.
Tiles behind the hob take grease and district dust together, so cleaning needs material that breaks down grease and removes dust at the same time.
Sink and tap are used heavily and roof tank water leaves light sediment, and grit from the floor enters the sink easily.
New ceramic floor is sensitive to scratching from grit, and grease and dust stick to the smooth surface fast.
Painted cabinets, laminate, natural stone and stainless steel do not take the same degreaser.
We start high, the tops of cabinets and the hood, and work down to the floor.
The degreaser is put on the heavy areas and given time to break the oil down before it is wiped.
The metal filter carries the worst of the grease and is soaked and worked on its own, not just wiped in place, because a clogged filter puts the oil straight back into the air.
The burners, the tiled splash and the grout lines take focused work, since the grout darkens first and a flat wipe passes over it.
We go over the kitchen with you before the team leaves.

We send a team, not a single worker.
The degreasers and tools come with the team.
If what the kitchen needs is a repair or pest treatment rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Al Ajwad too, and more than one can share a single visit.
