We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Kilo 18 is an industrial logistics area on Old Makkah Road near the Bahrah boundary, with few homes scattered among warehouses and loading yards. Curtains here trap truck soot, heavy industrial dust and coastal moisture all together. Cleaning needs knowledge of both industrial pollutants and coastal climate.
Dust and soot surround the homes from every direction, and Gulf humidity makes everything heavier and harder to clean. For the method itself, see the full curtain cleaning page.
Soot from warehouse loading and heavy truck movements carries oil, stone dust and minerals. Coastal moisture makes it denser and faster to bond with the fabric.
Few homes sit far from the city, completely surrounded by warehouses and loading stations on every side. Wind and soot flows toward them from the full circle around.
Damp air from the sea carries salt that settles on curtain edges and around windows. Salt layered with soot forms a thick coating that is difficult to dissolve.
Kilo 18 lies further out along Old Makkah Road at the southeastern edge of Jeddah near the Bahrah boundary, within an industrial and storage belt that has grown up along this road outside the main city.
Fabrics here are usually old and already weakened by constant exposure to soot and moisture.
Removal needs care because mountings may be heavily rusted and the weave already delicate.
Dry vacuum is strong but controlled to avoid pulling or tearing weakened fabric.
Heavy marks and soot need initial chemical treatment, not just soaking.
Washing uses warm water and specialist products that break down salt, soot and oil together.
Drying happens slowly and carefully because the fabric may already be weak, and rehang includes a safety check.
Cotton, linen, velvet, blackout weave and synthetic sheers do not take the same heat or the same solution.
Before any water.
A water spot at the hem is not treated like a greasy film near a kitchen.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres across the full panel, both faces and top to hem, with the method that suits the fabric, while the curtains stay on the rail so the drape is not disturbed.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the panels with you before the team leaves.
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.
We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and extraction machines come with the team.
If a panel needs a tailor rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
Industrial area: workshops, warehouses and loading yards
A remote industrial area means homes breathe heavy industrial air that surrounds them completely. Curtains need not just cleaning but protection from constant pollutants. Fabrics may already be weakened from years of exposure.
We provide these in Kilo 18 too, and more than one can share a single visit.
