We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Rabie is a newly constructed district of north Jeddah within the Obhur Al Shamaliyah subdivisions. Building work continues around the new villas which have large windows and gardens. Brand new delicate curtains collect both construction dust and fine sea salt simultaneously.
New villas in Al Rabie have large windows and spacious gardens, but active construction around the subdivision sends dust in simultaneously from both building sites and garden access. For the method itself, see our guide to curtain cleaning.
Building work around the subdivision produces coarse dust. The nearby sea supplies fine salt particles. The two combine and cling to new curtain fabric, making it feel heavy and stiff.
Wide windows and large gardens introduce earth and leaf particles into the interior. Curtains catch them, and fine sea salt makes them adhere more stubbornly to the weave.
New villas contain thin contemporary fabrics. Coarse construction dust can damage these fibres. Cleaning during active construction requires extra gentleness to avoid weakening new delicate material.
A subdivision of Obhur Al Shamaliyah in north Jeddah, part of a new urban tract whose land is still being released and built on, served by main roads to the Jeddah Madinah Road and King Abdulaziz Road.
Brand new delicate fabrics in Al Rabie are very sensitive to coarse dust and salt together, so we examine them extremely carefully before any cleaning.
Removal from a newly built villa with a large garden may release earth or leaf particles during the taking down process.
Initial dry vacuuming is vigorous but controlled, as construction dust is heavy and embedded, but delicate fabric cannot withstand harsh handling.
Stains from construction dust and sea salt require separate targeted treatment, each needing its own product and approach.
Washing is chosen to be very gentle to suit brand new delicate fabrics, with strict care not to stress or damage the material.
Precise extraction and very careful drying before rehang prevent salt residue and dust from creating new marks as curtains dry and settle.
Cotton, linen, velvet, blackout weave and synthetic sheers do not take the same heat or the same solution.
Before any water.
A water spot at the hem is not treated like a greasy film near a kitchen.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres across the full panel, both faces and top to hem, with the method that suits the fabric, while the curtains stay on the rail so the drape is not disturbed.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the panels with you before the team leaves.
New development: ongoing construction and vacant plots between the homes
New development means active construction produces coarse heavy dust while nearby sea air deposits fine salt continuously. Brand new delicate thin fabrics need specialised care far beyond standard residential cleaning to avoid damage.
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.
We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and extraction machines come with the team.
If a panel needs a tailor rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
North Jeddah is largely newer villa districts and compounds around Obhur and inland from it. Homes here tend to have marble or porcelain floors, large windows and a garden or courtyard, so the routine is set by what comes in from outside: fine sand carried on sandals, and sprinkler spray that dries to a chalky ring on tiles. Near the creek and the coast, sea air leaves a faint salt film on glass and on outdoor cushions, which stiffens fabric. Curtains and upholstery in these open plan rooms catch the dust that settles overnight.
We provide these in Al Rabie too, and more than one can share a single visit.
