We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Majid is a small, simple district in east Jeddah near Jeddah University and Wadi Al Ghawla. Shops and homes mix here, and curtains trap both valley dust and shop smells. The district is small but conditions are hard and cleaning needs care because the fabric is old and fragile.
Curtains in the district are fairly old and fabric is weakened from long use. Valley dust and windy season make them get dirty faster than in protected areas. For the method itself, see what curtain cleaning involves.
Wadi Al Ghawla is close and open windows let valley dust in during windy months. The dust is coarser than ordinary road dust and mixes with moisture. Curtains grow heavy and smell quickly.
Ground floor outlets throw up cooking smoke and grease. Flats above trap these smells in the curtains. Old fabric absorbs smell worse than new. Deep cleaning is needed for deep odour.
The district is older and most flats are rented out. Curtains have not been changed in years. Fabric is very fragile and colours are faded. Removal might tear the curtains so extreme care is needed from the start.
A small residential district in east Jeddah within the urban spread toward Asfan, one of the districts with simple residential character, close to the University of Jeddah Road and Wadi Al Ghawla.
Fabric is old and fittings are rusted and weak. We test everything before removal. Rods may not hold full weight so we are very cautious.
Removal takes a long time and extreme care. Weak fabric may tear during removal so two people are needed for safe removal.
Dry vacuum is long and deep. Wadi dust sticks harder than ordinary dust. We may vacuum a single curtain for more than ten minutes.
Stains and smell from the ground floor shop need special treatment. We rub very gently because fabric is weak.
Washing is cold water only because fabric is so weak and colours may not be stable. No hard wringing and drying is gentle.
Rehang may need new fittings if the original ones are too weak. We rehang the curtains with extreme care.
Cotton, linen, velvet, blackout weave and synthetic sheers do not take the same heat or the same solution.
Before any water.
A water spot at the hem is not treated like a greasy film near a kitchen.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres across the full panel, both faces and top to hem, with the method that suits the fabric, while the curtains stay on the rail so the drape is not disturbed.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the panels with you before the team leaves.

We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and extraction machines come with the team.
If a panel needs a tailor rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
Mixed district: shops at street level with homes above them
Mixed district here means curtains suffer from wadi dust on one side and shop odours on the other at the same time. Old weak fabric needs very special handling. We bring experienced staff because removal may be difficult and the choice between cleaning and refusing may need judgment.
We provide these in Al Majid too, and more than one can share a single visit.
