We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Rahmaniyah is a comparatively new district between Al Furusiyah and Al Salihiyah in north Jeddah, with recently built villas and apartments along Al Furusiyah Street and quiet interior roads. The neighbourhood sits away from heavy truck routes but not far from moderate main roads, so dust here is lighter than in south Jeddah but heavier than in strictly coastal areas. Curtains in the new villas need careful handling because the fabrics are modern and may carry special factory treatments that strong chemicals can damage.
Curtains here are cleaner than south Jeddah but see more dust than strictly coastal neighbourhoods, and the newer fabrics need gentle handling to preserve their factory finishes. For the method itself, see our guide to curtain cleaning.
New villas and apartments often come with curtains treated against wrinkles or dust buildup from the mill. These factory treatments can be damaged by strong chemicals, so we test first and use gentle methods that preserve the original protection while still cleaning what needs cleaning.
The neighbourhood is far from expressways so dust is lighter, but new builds often have small gaps around doors and windows that let settled dust enter. New curtains need regular care but not aggressive treatment, and most come clean with gentler methods than aged fabric requires.
Al Rahmaniyah is recent development surrounded by land still under construction, so on days when building work is active nearby, construction dust may find its way to curtains. The dust is temporary rather than chronic, so cleaning every six months handles it well.
The district lies in north Jeddah between Al Furusiyah and Al Salihiyah, stretched along Al Furusiyah Street beside Al Falah and Al Hamdaniyah, and is set back from the heavy traffic roads and well away from the coast.
Modern fabrics may carry factory protective treatments, and we avoid very strong solutions that might strip the built-in protection.
Fixtures and hardware on new villas are often sensitive to excessive pressure, so careful removal matters more here than in older homes.
Dry vacuum and gentle shake-out are often sufficient for new curtains, and full washing may not be necessary if the curtains are only moderately dusty.
Light to moderate marks need gentle treatment to avoid damaging the factory finish that protects the fabric.
Cleaning method here is gentler than in other districts because the fabrics are stronger and the dust is lighter, so we choose balanced solutions.
Drying is relatively fast because the neighbourhood is not coastal and the air is drier, so we hang in an open spot and finish sooner than in humid areas.
Cotton, linen, velvet, blackout weave and synthetic sheers do not take the same heat or the same solution.
Before any water.
A water spot at the hem is not treated like a greasy film near a kitchen.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres across the full panel, both faces and top to hem, with the method that suits the fabric, while the curtains stay on the rail so the drape is not disturbed.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the panels with you before the team leaves.

We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and extraction machines come with the team.
If a panel needs a tailor rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
Along Al Furusiyah Street which runs through the district, you reach the new villas and apartments that fill Al Rahmaniyah between Al Furusiyah and Al Salihiyah. Bilal bin Rabah Mosque, Al Khair Mosque and Al Marwah Secondary School mark the surrounding neighbourhoods, and traffic here is noticeably lighter than on the main roads of south Jeddah.
We provide these in Al Rahmaniyah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
