We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Aziziyah is a dense district in central Jeddah where shops, popular markets and restaurants fill the ground floors with flats above. Roads are narrow and traffic is constant, so fine black dust and exhaust soot enter every window on Makarona Road and Tahliah Street. Curtains trap this dust and grease together, darkening and weighing down far faster than in quieter areas.
Black dust from main roads leaves an oily film on the fabric that cannot be removed by shaking alone or light rubbing. It needs specialised washing to break down the film and extract the embedded particles. For the method itself, see what curtain cleaning involves.
The district is a commercial hub with constant lorry and car movement, and exhaust soot deposits as a greasy layer on curtains. This soot is heavier than ordinary dust and clings to the weave hard. It needs a solution that dissolves fats before any water is used.
Markets and shops shed dust all day, and flats directly above them breathe in this dust plus heat and moisture from display cases. Curtains darken and grow heavy faster than in flats in other neighbourhoods.
Older blocks in Al Aziziyah have aged metal pipework and marks of trapped humidity. Curtains near shared bathrooms absorb moisture constantly, developing musty smells and rust stains from the old fittings.
A dense district northeast of central Jeddah with Makarona Road and popular markets lined by apartment blocks with shops below. Tahliah bounds it north and Al Arbaeen east, filled all day with heavy lorries and cars.
Al Aziziyah's mixed housing brings different fabrics: old curtains in older blocks and new ones in numbered villa sections, each needing separate assessment.
Taking down curtains from old metal fittings that may be corroded by moisture and soot requires care so the aged fittings do not break.
Vigorous shaking extracts thick black dust first, and suction captures the fine soot settled on the surface.
Oily soot, moisture stains and rust marks all need different solutions, each one chosen to match what caused the mark.
Washing uses solutions strong enough to remove soot and grease without damaging older, more delicate fabrics.
Drying must be complete, especially for flats near shared bathrooms and humid kitchens, to prevent odours from returning.
Cotton, linen, velvet, blackout weave and synthetic sheers do not take the same heat or the same solution.
Before any water.
A water spot at the hem is not treated like a greasy film near a kitchen.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres across the full panel, both faces and top to hem, with the method that suits the fabric, while the curtains stay on the rail so the drape is not disturbed.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the panels with you before the team leaves.
Mixed district: shops at street level with homes above them
Mixed districts with markets nearby mean greasy soot and fine black dust are the main problem, not salt or garden moisture. Solutions focus on dissolving fats before tackling dust.
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.
We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and extraction machines come with the team.
If a panel needs a tailor rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
Central Jeddah is the old heart of the city: Al Balad with its coral stone houses, and the dense apartment quarters around it with shops beneath the flats. Floors here are often terrazzo or older ceramic tile, worn smooth and easily stained by cooking grease that drifts up from the street. Older kitchens and bathrooms carry heavy scale on taps and around drains, and pipework in the older blocks leaves rust marks in basins. Rugs and curtains take on the fine black dust of the main roads, so they need washing more often than elsewhere.
We provide these in Al Aziziyah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
