We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Adl West is a planned district in southeast Jeddah between the Old Makkah Road and the expressway, with villas and mid-rise apartment blocks in a grid of organised streets. Its position between the sea and heavy goods roads means curtains trap thick diesel soot and oily vapours from trucks alongside moisture drifting from the coast. The dust is black, oily and dense, different from northern districts. Cleaning demands specialised handling of both greasy soot and dual moisture sources.
Curtains in this area turn black from soot and grease and hold a trapped musty smell from humidity all at once, and the smell persists even when windows open. For the method itself, see what curtain cleaning involves.
The Jeddah Makkah Expressway carries heavy trucks all day, and diesel soot and engine fumes pour into homes through windows and vents. The soot here is black and greasy and clings to curtains harder than anywhere else. Shaking alone will not remove it. Curtains need soaking and deep washing with special products that dissolve the oils and break down the soot.
Sitting between sea and heavy roads means curtains trap soot and dampness together. Humidity accelerates fibre breakdown and sticky soot adheres to damp fabric. Mould can start to grow on the soot and trapped moisture. Cleaning must remove soot first, then address moisture and mould growth afterwards.
Properties here have windows facing different ways: some look directly onto the expressway and others face quiet streets or gardens. Curtains facing the expressway trap more soot while those facing gardens may trap less sand. Cleaning needs understanding of each window's relative exposure.
A planned district in southeast Jeddah between Old Makkah Road and the expressway, with villas and mid-rise apartment blocks, near Al Thaghr Mosque and hospital. Homes sit between sea air to the west and heavy truck traffic to the east, with black oily soot and fumes.
Fabrics in villas may be upmarket and in apartments may be mixed quality, so manual testing first determines the safe method for each curtain.
Removing curtains from hooks corroded by both soot and dual moisture sources requires care and possibly treatment of the rusty hardware.
Dry vacuum and shaking are reasonably vigorous because greasy soot needs real removal, but not so hard that it damages sensitive cloth.
Soot and grease stains need separate treatment before general washing, with special products dissolving oils carefully on fine fabrics.
Washing method is vigorous enough to break heavy soot but balanced to avoid damage to upmarket curtains in villas.
Drying is fast with strong ventilation to prevent returning moisture and mould growth, and fabric is spread to allow full air circulation.
Cotton, linen, velvet, blackout weave and synthetic sheers do not take the same heat or the same solution.
Before any water.
A water spot at the hem is not treated like a greasy film near a kitchen.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres across the full panel, both faces and top to hem, with the method that suits the fabric, while the curtains stay on the rail so the drape is not disturbed.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the panels with you before the team leaves.

We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and extraction machines come with the team.
If a panel needs a tailor rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
South Jeddah runs from the port and the industrial city down towards Al Khumrah, and homes here sit between the sea and the heavy goods roads. The dust is darker and oilier than in the north, a mix of diesel soot and workshop grit, and it clings to net curtains, window sills and the tops of kitchen cupboards. Floors in the older low rise housing are often plain cement or ceramic tile that darkens where soot is walked in. Humidity from the coast adds mildew in bathrooms and a musty smell in stored fabrics.
We provide these in Al Adl West too, and more than one can share a single visit.
